I'm half Filipino and Spanish (Dad is from Barcelona, Spain) and because both parents are from different backgrounds (My Dad actually knew Illocano and spoke with my mom though) they didn't want me or my brother to get "confused".. so they never taught us. :/ I can't speak a word and I barely understand anything.
