Botham was struck in line with leg stump; I think with a delivery swinging that much there has to be a BIG element of doubt as to whether it would have hit the stumps. In fact I'd go as far as to say it was probably missing the stumps. However, the umpire does not have the benefit of a second look and at first glance at full speed it certainly looks out.
First one I'd say was missing leg. Close call. Second one was plumb. If I recall correctly Pakistan scraped home with a couple or so wickets left and Waqar the hero with the bat !!!!!!
The first one isn't given LBW it's clearly bowled as shown on screen as Botham is walking off...agreed, the second is plumb.
