Insurance rates have gone up because less people can afford the cost of it and have decided to gamble and not buy. So to make up for that loss the Ins Co. raise existing rates on who can afford it. They were climbing way before the bill past. Also, this bill is Capitalism on Steroids. It sets up a insurance exchange and people buy insurance from, hold your breath, Private Insurance Companies.

Insurance rates have gone up because less people can afford the cost of it and have decided to gamble and not buy. So to make up for that loss the Ins Co. raise existing rates on who can afford it. They were climbing way before the bill past. Also, this bill is Capitalism on Steroids. It sets up a insurance exchange and people buy insurance from, hold your breath, Private Insurance Companies.

Health Insurance has always been offered by the "free market", look where it has brought us? 37th on the The World Health Organization's country ranking of the world's health systems. 37th!! @tblach04 Look, debt is not good. But Gov. is not in the business to make a profit. It's to enforce laws, protect the land and it's citizens. The debt was run up to $11.7 T by Bush/Cheney. Dems took over a total mess. It took 8 years to take a budget surplus of $308 B to $11.7 T. Not going fix in 22 months. We're at a crossroads, we need to re-invest in our country(not China) for a prosperous viable future & that takes spending money. First the super wealthy need to pay 1990's tax rates.

For those who think Harry Reid is helping America, I think you need to analyze the fact he has been pushing Radical Agenda fast and furious through the Legislature in backroom deals and any illegal means he can accomplish. He's the Obama Water Boy! Yes Master, Yes Master! Did you hear what he said? "Women need to be forced to do Mamograms" Yes, let's force an issue which should be obligatory. We need to become automatons to make Obamacare work. Forced injections, etc. will be the norm.

In response to all the rhetoric about the spelling of the word Bum or Bumb. This is what I found out online: Bum+Dumb=Bumb! It comes from the Urban Dictionary and is sort of a new word. There is another explanation but I won't post it. So the word Bumb Reid is very well characterized @CGreenbush! It is a word, but a slang word, and best describes Reid! Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen!

Love the Conservatives, Invade a woman's private life and infringe on her God given Free Will, fight tooth and nail against abortion, but as soon as that baby is born then they could give a rat's ass about it. Cross the line of Separation of Church and State with a self given God given mandate to stop "killing babies" but change their tune as soon as that baby they saved in God's name is born then it's on it's own.
