This is a beautiful video, and I love how you ended it on Booth's reaction. That brief second where he closes his eyes and tightens his jaw is proof of the depth of the feelings for Brennan and the conflict within him that he hadn't allowed himself to feel since his return from Afghanistan. The choice of music fit perfectly.
You did an amazing job on this video! I had no problem with Booths reaction in this episode. She broke his heart last season and (mine) when he risked everything and poured his heart and soul into his declaration of love for her, only to have her REJECT him! He still loves her and I know they will eventually be together,but I don't think it would have been right or healthy for him to just jump at the chance to be with her NOW, just because she FINALLY faced the truth about her feelings for him.
I hate Booth this season! He's completely changing and he's turning into an ass. I get that he wouldn't just up and leave hannah obviously because he does love her, but show a bit more compassion than that, he used to care about Brennan a lot more than he seems to now, he doesn't seem to care about anyone but Hannah now.
I think Booth secretly waited this moment for a long time for Brennan to understand her feelings for him. But the timing wasn't right so he couldn't show he was happy. He couldn't tell her that she wasn't alone and that he was there because deep down he wanted to be more. I think Booth's feelings for Hannah i
are more out of responsibility, now that he gets to choose. Which means their relationship will be over soon! hooray!
@jhua81 In this episode Booth was conflicted and I think he pretty much saw what was happening to Brennan. But he pretended he didn't. That's why he looked cold.
He'll make it up for her once they finally get together :)
@jhua81 i think she's looking after brennan from distance.. he went wherever brennan went. but in this episode we are watching from brennan's point of view. so we see what ever brennan see and we hear what ever brennan hear. and of course we feel what ever she feels

He seemed not to understand why she was taking it so personal, at least didn't vocalize it in front of her. he didn't confort her, nothing! arg! hope old booth is back soon.

@natimusicaleslt Booth does care. He followed her to protect her for crying out loud. That's more than just a friend. Who in their right mind with a girlfriend would do that for a "friend"? You have to consider the psychological conditions of these characters. It's a fact that he has a girlfriend. It's just not his place anymore to spend the night with Brennan. He's doing the honorable thing. What did you expect him to do? Dump Hannah right there and then? He's a better person than that.
@canuck21 A friend? He was acting as her PARTNER. Partners are there to protect each other and to give their lifes for each other, if necessary. She was there at the middle of the night because she was working on the case. But a friend would have told Brennan that she was not alone. Like Sweets did. A friend would have tried to talk with her about WHY she's taking the case so personally. He only "accused" her of taking it personally, in front of Hannah!
@canuck21 and I don't think Brennan expected him to dump Hannah. I think Brennan acted impulsively, she just knew she didn't want to have regrets and she let him know about her feelings, that she'd be willing to give them a chance. It's up to him now, he can do with that info whatever he wants.
What pisses me of is that he's moved on so quickly! I mean, it's a defense mechanism in my opinion, because honestly? How can you promise a person 30,40 or 50 years and then move on in less than 1 year?
@natimusicaleslt Of course it's his defense mechanism. I don't believe he loves Hannah, I mean really LOVEs Hannah. I take into consideration the psychology behind it and that's why I don't hate Booth. It's clear that he's avoiding the squints because they are a part of Bones and he's trying to distance himself from her world because it hurts him. If he really moved on, I guarantee you that he wouldn't have a problem meeting the squints.
@natimusicaleslt There are so many clues that gives me hope. Listen to what Sweets says. He would tell Booth little comments that we fans have been thinking, but he doesn't push it so that Booth won't freak out because he knows that Booth needs time to heel and sort things out. Really, Sweets knows the answer, give careful attention of what he's saying.

I don't hate Booth though, maybe I did a bit after watching the epi the first time, but I guess I was impulsive I'm upset with him though, but I guess it'll take one charm smile of him to disarm me. At least now he knows her feelings. So now even though it hurts, cause she still acknowledge the feelings too late, they're out there, it should reassure him and give him the courage of starting again. After the confession, everything changed. Since he was hurt deeply, he is trying to move on and he found someone that loves him. Booth has his own barriers just like Bones. I see trying to convince himself and his friends that he loves Hannah, but deep down, he still loves Bones.
