I saw this film as a teenager and I found it quite disturbing, especially as I have subsequently being a drug user and know of many others who were damaged as a result of their consumption. I was an addict for almost 15 years and I dare to say that the scenes in this movie are scaringly accurate..as close as one can get to the reality of Heroin addiction. The book behind it and that story about Christiane ,detlef and Babsi and the rest of the persona gallery still serves as a shocking uncut report. A portrait of hell, and the defeat of mankind.

Schon ein komishces Gefühl: Ich war auch mal eines der Kinder... der Ku-Damm das WOnzimmer und Ldie und Eledn täglicher Begleiter. Nun bin ich Papa - und muss verhindern, dass meine Kinder den wirklichen Geschmack der Strasse kennenlernen müssen.

Als ich den Film sah, fand ich es schon sehr beunruhigend. ABer erst dieser Song hat mir die Gänsehaut und dieses absolute "Verzweiflungs"-Feeling.. *___* Dermaßen eindringlich.. WOW
