where did that conversation even started? what common do have terrorism and this yacht? ofcourse it uses lot of fuel but airplanes use alot more and are much more general. that´s one of those big things in this climate change to "repair". (english not my first language so..)
Although this boat is superb and a pure pleasure in every way, it is a great fuel consumer.
My idea is to introduce progressive tariff on fuel consumption.
Quite simple; more gas you buy more you pay, less you buy less you pay.
If you buy 5 liters for Your car You pay the standard price, on the other hand if You buy 6000 liters for Your boat the sum total divided by the number of liters will have to be higher for cost of one liter!
Wow...I post a comment, get semi-flamed, and look what happens?!
xjabi - looks to me like it's time to pack your bags. It's not clear what you're trying to accomplish here, but it looks like viewer sentiment is running against your opinion. Perhaps it's time to sit down.
And all this gas-sucking splendor can be yours at 15 gallons/mile.
Why worry about climate change or terrorist-supporting nations (where, after all, a lot of the fuel for this boat must come from), when we can make it our KIDS problem at a later time?

what the hell is your problem?
i agree with climate change but not every country east of europe supports terrorism, there are very few people in asian countries which support terrorism - their called terrorists.
You've won the award for the most ignorant comment i've seen on youtube award
xjabi - First...this conversation is off to a rough start when started with "what the hell is your problem?" I assume you are actually paying attention, so, in fact, you already know what my problem is. Climate Change. Petro-nation-supported terrorism.
"Ignorant" is what you just did...somehow conflating all countries east of Europe with terrorism. Do me a favor and go back to school before you talk about ignorant.
@Jangle2007 I was beginning to believe the whole "climate change" thing too.. Until I heard a "climate change" scientist say that we would have to eliminate ALL carbon based emissions for some odd years just to change the earth's temperature by 1 degree. Made me think.. If that's true, then how much damage are carbon based emissions really doing?
wow xjabi. I don't usually get involved in youtube skirmishes, but you really blew this argument. The point is abusrd petroleum consumption and where a significant percentage of that petroleum comes from.

And the countries in the OPEC Algeria - Doesn't support terrorism Angola - Doesn't support terrorism Ecuador - Doesn't support terrorism Iran - Doesn't support terrorism Iraq - Doesn't support terrorism Kuwait - Doesn't support terrorism Libya - Doesn't support terrorism Nigeria - Doesn't support terrorism Qatar - Doesn't support terrorism Saudi Arabia - Doesn't support terrorism UAE - Doesn't support terrorism Venezuela - Doesn't support terrorism
xjabi - If I understand your point, the named countries in your OPEC list do not OVERTLY support terrorism. The evidence is long that that some countries on your OPEC list COVERTLY support terrorism, and of the non-state actors supporting terrorism, a significant funding resource is oil-derived income. I'm sure that we can agree on this much.
Which country do you live in? Where are you originally from?
x-Am I hearing you right? Reduced terrorism is a "stupid idea of why we should use less oil"?
How in the world do you come up with a conclusion like that. You would argue that we should use MORE oil?...from places like Saudi Arabia. Iran. Niger. Venezuala. Places with inherently weak, corrupt, and undemocratic governence.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
No, it's a stupid reason we should use less oil because it won't work
Venezuala is a democracy and none of the others fund terrorism, the taliban aren't based in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia or Iran and there would be no way how the saudi arabian goverment can fund terrorism - their allied with the States, the states sells Saudi Arabia weapons, so surely living in America and paying tax will "fund terrorism" is what your saying is correct
x, man. You're not getting it. OF COURSE no government would overtly and publicly fund terrorism. That would be called...hhmm...TERRORISM. But many governments, paricularly those ideologically driven, support clandestine operations with terroristic objecitves.
And don't think for a minute that I think my government is immune to that charge.
I don't offer this next comment out of any animosity or perjorative objective. However, you must be either young, ignorant, or fairly uneducated.

I support anti-climate change but,
There is not a country and this planet which supports terrorism. The misleading Media supports terrorism because it gets them sales.
