Passion is a powerful and unforgiving emotion, but I think the underlying issue here is self esteem and coming to terms with who we are and accepting ourselves instead of passing judgment.

It took me many years to learn how to accept people just as they are and love my self just the way I am. And I learned that it is the most beautiful way for me to be. I not only accept my self now, I have a lot of fun with me...lol.

But as you said, passion has no mercy for us.

We may think we learned from the past about it. And that IT would never catch us vulnerable again. We are very wrong. Recurrence is possible and unpredictable.
