  • Eskimo!

  • Brilliant.

  • Love this. Recorded it when it was shown on TV and now don't know where the bloody tape is so cheers. And what's with all the stupid sniping about who was best? Mick Brown played drums in a band called Red Lorry Yellow Lorry before he joined The Mission. The Lorries fucking blow these pretentious shits away in an instant! Don't get me wrong, I like the Mission and the Sisters but, ya know, you people who have strong opinions about what's good or bad don't know your arse from your fucking elbow!

  • Jeezuz. Is it impossible to like BOTH TSOM and The Mish? I mean, really???

Come on folks, pull your collective heads out of your collective arses.

I prefer the Adams/Eldritch/Marx line-up of TSOM, why? Because that's who the Sisters were. When Hussey joined, and then Marx left, it was a different band.

Not better. Just different. I loved First andLast and Always. There are some truly iconic tracks on there.

Suck up your childish cynical opinions about who is "the greatest" and enjoy the music.

  • @krysylys That was the SOM line up I liked best, Hussey, Marx and Adams. Too bad Eldritch is such a control freak. But Hussey proves there is life after SOM. Mission U K is a great band. Different from the Sisters of course.

  • this is bullshit!!!!

  • How can you prefer TSOM version!!?....the drum machine sucks, eldritch voice with no feeling at all.......and ABT67: the best TSOM's album was first and last and always with Wayne's guitar style and wayne's composition

  • the mission were the real deal. when the guys left the sisters they left a massive hole that was never filled,

  • loved the sisters at the time, but they were playing at it really. The mission were awsome!

  • Eldritch's delivery was better... but the band sounded good. Nothing on The Stooges though.

  • he's taking the p*ss out of Eldritch in this, I thought that was obvious ;)

  • pissed all over sisters at that time, mission were real band! loved em then ,still do!

  • a sisters copy

  • still got this on vhs from 87? but no longer have a video player! thanks ferg303

  • Not a massive fan, but this was one of my favourite performances on the tube, from the crazy dancing to the crazy singing......cant believe someone got this.

  • I think they do it even better now.

  • I 've got this demo on vilyl(maxi single) :-)

I prefer TSOM's version. Haha, The Sisters of mercy versus The Mission...great war :-)

  • great version ¡

sisters of mercy & iggy pop and the stogges

    ALSO GREAT ¡

  • is so much better que the sisters version

  • Sorry, i love this!

  • Andrew's? Nope, it's Iggy Pop & the Stooges I think. With the stooges it's great. With Sisters' it wonderful. This... well, it makes me laugh :)

    Yeah, this wasn't his thingie..

  • this is my year of born, awesome!!!

  • If Wayne stuck to what he *can* do, I would have it much easier to take him serious. This version of the song is just ridiculously bad. Lousy singing.

  • 1969 ist das nicht Andrews Song??

  • And The Stooges'...

  • Did I just hear Wayne Hussey growling?
