Not a bad project yo. I'm diggin the dash, cherry looking. I'm thinking of getting a 95-99 Neon and doing a little project with it as well. I do agree with some of the viewers too though, it would indeed look better if you did put a body kit. It's not riced out at all, it really isn't. It's clean and it's basic. When I get everything going, I hope that when the exhaust system is installed, it doesn't have the annoying rattling sound that I've seen in multiple 95 Neon videos. It just kills it.

I had a Dodge Neon. I think those cars are VERY basic, plain, and just something to get around in. If you pump it up to make it cool... you just made the "Rice burner".

I sold it and purchased a 1994 Mustang Cobra with a 302 5.0 V8 engine, added a high performance chip and some things to it so it pumped 400+ horsepower.

Just find it funny when I see people do things like this.

you can find it funny, but I find it unique. There are very few neon owners out there who appreciate the rarity of a neon and modify it. I personally never liked those mustangs. back when my car was stock I raced a 5.0 and it only beat me by a half a car. Fords suck balls. Those cars are a joke mustang or not. My neon is the DOHC i dont know which one you had but these are honda killers.

@angelizquier1 Rarity of neons? They're everywhere? And most of them are all riced up. That Mustang you raced probably wasn't racing, or at least it was a V6. A Cobra or GT would destroy you. Check your 1/4 mile times. You'll see what I mean. Car looks like rice.

@clockvids no its not unless you got A LOT more things then a "high performance chip". Ive had a few 5.0's and there dogs unless you build them, nice cam, intake, heads, ect. I'd ditch that 302 for a 351 crate engine instead of trying to build a 302 ... those blocks will hardly stay together under 400 hp. i learned the hard way

A first gen base coupe (96 or 97 only, look for the non head rest seats) weighs 2150 pounds costs $800 - $1200 if you don't care about what's under the hood.. and why would you? sort that and put some good struts/sway bars, tiers on, you have close to the first ACR or way hotter if you spent even 3k more ... 25% of any SRT4 worth having in cash and way faster if there is any boost going on. You'll feel like ass has been kicked after a 45 mile trip though.

I know alot of people dont like them but that just makes me like them even more because theyre different not like every other guy with a honda. this car isnt turboed. it just has a leak in the intake. ive had a car that sounded exactly like this cause of that. if you try saying its turboed, then show the turbo, intercooler, lets listen to the blow off valve, etc. dude, i even went as far to put a dog whistle in that car and it still sounded more like a real turbo than this thing

youre such a dumb ass. The car is turbo. The manifold in the front is the intake not exhaust. Hondas are slow. This car was a honda killer even before the turbo back when i was racing. i took on Si and hatches with swaps and prelude H22 you name it. I have no reason to lie.

the turbo in my neon is off of a 97 eclipse GST and its almost a direct fit for DOHC neons. The engine is the original 2.0L DOHC 420a found in neon sport and R/T. I only have minor modds in the engine. Thanks for watching.....

how did you do the red interior, just spray paint? does it last?

before you even paint any parts you must sand them all down with verry fine sand paper and then give them a coat of bulldog, its this spray that makes paint stick to plastic surfaces and even vinyl. then just use any regular spray paint . and yes , if done correctly, it will last you.

well the bulldog spray kinda works as a paint adhessive but i think if you sand the parts propperly it will last a while but make sure you use glossy paint so it will give the parts a little shine.

the bottom blocks are exactly the same you idiot. the dohc version of the a855 [D4RE] is almost exactly the same as the 420a found in eclipses and talons [n/t's] except the D4RE has 10 more horses than the 420a also the 420a has the head of the motor on the opposite way.. those are he only differences. so check your shit pboost before you act like you know shit.
