  • I wish I had some of that stuff to shoot like on deadliest warrior

  • @deathbutt09 i know dude its bad ass

  • thats wat my bullet did to yer momz booteh

  • does anyone know of a vid of a 300 savage into gel?

  • Looks as if it's going to explode!

  • That temporary cavity is huge!!

  • Sikkkk!!!!

  • what caliber is it

  • .223/5.56?

  • 308″ 180 grain Barnes Triple-Shock X-Bullet fired into a 6″x6″x16″ gelatin block at 2907 fps

  • just 1 question sir, does a .308 rifle bullet have pointed tip? thanks..

  • @lisolangka full metal jacket is pointed, hollow point has a whole in it kinda, so yes it is pointed

  • @jacobninja25 sorry, i may have asked a wrong question. my quesitoin should have been if the bullet used was hollow point or fmj. the way the bullet expanded, i think its a jhp.. thanks for the rep.

  • @lisolangka yea looks like it but i cant be sure

  • @jacobninja25 me too. thanks for your time and happy shooting.:)

  • they need to time warp a fat guy getting slapped in the stomach

  • Didn't think gelatin would deform a bullet that much. That was some severe mushrooming.

  • hollow point bullet

  • It is really cool how you can see the effect the bullet's spin has on the gel.

  • u dont buy u make it and that bullet had some turn on it

  • i heard that the bigger the air hole is created by the bullet the more stoping power it had

  • @narutofanz4 stopping power is a heavily debated subject. basicly it comes down to three things, kinetic energy, penetration, and how rapidly the bullet delivers the kinetic energy it has. which one of those three things is most important though is what people dont agree on. penetration is important because a bullet that doesnt reach vital organs is useless, kinetic energy is important because that is what creates the shockwave u saw in the gel, and the faster the enrgy is delivered=more damage.

  • That looks like it would hurt...

  • but wouldn't it be much different if there was bones & shit

  • it would be worse, the shock would hit the bones and rebound back into the wounded area, instead of being able to flex and spend the energy, the flesh would tear and snap the bones with its own momentum

  • mother fuckin hollow point! xD

    dangerous things xD

  • Wow it actually flattened the tip of the bullet.

  • aculy i think it just brought some gelitine with it gelatine is not that hard super soft now the bullet would shttaer hitting water mythbusters

  • if that shits the same density as human flesh remind me never to get shot

  • To clarify - This was not a 9mm round nor any other pistol round. This video is from the Barnes website & its the Triple Shock TSX, 180grain .308cal round fired from a rifle. So if the 308 rifle did not knock this block off the table, neither would the other pistol calibures mentioned. Hope this helps

  • @YellowMetalDriver not to mention the rifling marks left in the gel from the spinning

  • Can you bet that gelatin in cherry flavor?

  • cool story, bro

  • shut up you moron

  • i reckon if you hit 'em in the lip it'll just bounce off!

  • 9mm, wow.... Beat my expectations.

  • a .45 or .357 hollow point actually can knock the block off the table

  • That was a .308 a .357 would not knock that block off that table. And a .45 wouldn't either

  • It was a .308

  • @24pointbuck Actually it's a Barnes TSX 180 gr .300 Win Mag

  • Note the spiral effect of the spinning bullet and imagine how the sharp edges of the expanded round would damage like a buzz saw. Very good high speed filming

  • imagine that going through you lol, that Ballistic Gelatin is made to simulate muscle tissue

  • It continues to expand even after the bullet has left!!!!

  • that was a tripple shock round

  • them r great bullets

  • Barnes bullets, right??

  • yes

  • dude imagine getting shot withthat...the same thing happens to your muscle tissue, youd have a bruise the size of a fucking watermelon!

  • You'd have a hole the size of a watermelon. Lol.

  • must have been a 7.62 because it went straight through. =D

  • just imagine how much damage that does to someone when they get hit with that. wow

  • who ever shot this video has a damn good camera.

  • yes, i think these cameras are really really expensive, this is probably the best gel footage there is

  • it was a high speed cam and yeah its realy exspensive

  • Huh, I didn't know bullets spun.

  • Yeah, helps them keep a straighter trajectory.

  • That's what rifling does.

  • lol it would go anywhere near as far without spin

  • .......dot.dotdot.. BAHAHAHAHA im sorry but thats just funny

  • Just like your mom!

  • +1 for that comment, it was just perfect : )

  • it also flys them straighter of course

  • You never noticed the 007 Movies with the spiral mussle pointed at james bond in the begginning of the movie? Of course bullets spin! They even teach you this in history class.

  • Clip #4: .308″ 180 grain Barnes Triple-Shock X-Bullet fired into a 6″x6″x16″ gelatin block at 2907 fps

  • SOOO COOL lol

  • What is the round?

  • where can I buy this stuff?

  • I have been told it can be made using baking gelatin in high concentration and cured in a large bread pan. I haven't done it yet but I am going to try when I get some money.

  • is there an artificial version, like made of plastic or something?

  • @DocClark340 Dude just take two packs of gelatin knocks preferred, then add about 3/4 a cup of water. Let it chill 3-4 hours in the fridge. When it has a constancy of jello take it out and fill a sink up with hot water. Place the container in the sink and let it melt for 10-15 minutes. When its done melting lubricate another container and pour it into there. Chill for about 12 hours then when its done it should slip right out.
