lol this was based on a true story in acient korea. This cartoon was made to inspire kids to learn history. I also made up a anime cartoon of my own life and now everyone at school wants to kno abt my life experiences. i'm like a legend now bcos my life story has inspired so many people.

Does u guys know that there is a jap dub version for Jang Geum's Dream ^^ maybe u will like it better then the korean version. Loved the drama, the anime's story is quite different so it feels like watching a different show, not a replica of the drama ^^

meh...*shrugs* there are many different styles to Korean manwha, just like in Japanese Anime. Compare Janggeum's Dream to the widely popular korean animated film, Wonderful Days, and you'll see a different like night and day. Dragon Ball Z and Di-Gi Charat are vastly different in style, but still japan-made.
