  • Thanks

  • Your video was really helpful. I just started wearing make up last yr. I'm still learning.

  • Your skin is amazing! You're so lucky! I've used an orange/yellow corrector by Laura Mercier, and I'm in love with it! It's the most perfect cosmetic for women of color! Great video, Destiny. Loved it. Thanks a million for sharing your fabulous tips! :)

  • would the make up make it even worse ?

  • Wow i love your skin!

  • Very helpful pretty lady! I'm the same color tune as Erykah Badu so what palette should I get and where can I get it?? U are to pretty with that make-up and ur skin look so flawless. I want that look...lol

  • Hi there Destiny I was just wondering if you could do a review on the coastal scents color corrector palette. Its around $15 and I wanted to know if it came close to the MUFE color corrector palette since its so expensive. Thanks for all the videos!! Ciao

  • Hi, good tutorial. I'm NC45, what color should I get in the Loreal studio secrets dullness primer? I think I want to try this application out...

  • Hi!! i'm new to wearing makeup, and I was told that I could use mac mineralize skin finish natural with a wet brush, to get more coverage. Would these color correctors work under the skin finish? thanx, love your vids.xoxo

  • Love this video.....very helpful and informative

  • what camera do you use

  • can you wet sponge to put on foundation if you have very oily skin.....i feel like it would make me moist even after it dries and i can't have that

  • @dani77love Actually water is drying; when it evaporates, it removes moisture. So using a wet sponge shouldn't make you more oily.

  • i was wondering the sponge you used.........now i know couldn't find anywhere

  • Those Eyebrows SMH....Tweezers are your Friend!

  • @spicy1ize Get lost.

  • Trying to order a MAC concealer online. my skin tone is like gabrielle union. What shade would i order? im a tad bit confused. any help?

  • Will this work for freckles? I love my freckles but i need to cover then up for cosplaying :) thanks!

  • Does This Feel Cakey Or Heavy Through-Out The Day ?

  • @KaileeKittey yessssssssssss it feels heavy

  • This video was so FABULOUS that I had to come back and watch again. I guess I've been under a rock b/c I'm really getting into color theories and color correcting vs concealers. Awesome vid sis...once again!

  • I love your videos and have learned so much from them! I am a woman of colour with golden yellow undertones, oily skin, and use Bare Minerals Matte in Warm Tan. Would I conceal before or after foundation? With colour correctors, which one is best for under eye circles, peach or yellow? And do I even need a translucent powder to set the concealer if I use powder foundation already?

    Thank you.

  • I LOVE YOU!!

You are the first women of colour makeup artist that I can relate my skin tone too, others are either too light or too dark or don't review the products that I want them to. Thank you so much!

    Once again, I LOVE YOU!!!

  • your eyes are gorgeous!

  • Your makeup looks amazing in every light. I aspire to be this good with my makeup application.

  • I appreciate the light check u did at the end

  • Thank you.

  • Am I the only one that thought wrong when she said nice and wet?

  • what is your skin care regimen? you're skin is gorgeous !!

  • very very informative... and very well done thanks....

  • ugh i NEED that L'Oreal primer.

  • GIRL THIS IS SO GREAT,GOOD JOB!!

  • Can I use the L'oreal product instead of MUFE to get rid of acne scarring/hyper-pigmentation in mostly the cheek & chin area? I'm a teenager on a budget :)

  • I came upon your vids by chance and love them. This was so helpful to learn. I will def use these tips. Thanks!

  • I really like your videos. you do a good job in anticipating questions the viewer may want answered. thanks so much.

  • Wow! Great video! I've been searching high and low for concealers at several make up stores and never did someone suggest to me a color concealer! Please check out my channel. I am newbie and did a review on concealers based on my experience. Do you know if the MUFE color corrector palette good for oily/acne prone skin?

  • thank you so very much !!!! it helped a lot :D

  • Very informational! Thank you for sharing!

  • hi , im nc40 but i have really bad under eye circles and it always looks gray when i but concealer even when its darker than my skin tone , can u recommend a good concealer for me please !

  • Stunning!! Do you recommend this everyday or just for special occasions, weekends etc??

  • WOW you look beautiful. Never thought to use a color corrector but will start now. Thanks!

  • Please make morevideos like this!

  • idk my skin tone when it comes to concealer. can you help me find the right and perfect tone?

  • god, I love you! Thank you for ALL of your make-up tutorials.

  • great video

  • Hi, my name is Dee I really love all your video. I was wondering the palette #4 corrector does it has and smell to it, because I really don't like anything that smells on my face. I use Mac concealer and that has a funny smell to me. I really want to buy this product so please let me know. Thanks.

  • @utubeinfamous There is an online makeup company called Coastal Scents has all the corrector color concealers in one mini palete. It holds yellow for bruises and dark spots, blue for any green veins, lavender for bronzer people's dark spots and under the eye, and green for any redness of the skin. Its a color corrector palette! Search it on Bing or Google to check it out(:

  • i'm an NC37 and suffer from brown/grey spots on the tops of my cheeks. What color corrector would you suggest to hide them? ~thanks

  • how do you keep the foundation from transferring onto ur clothes especially if you have to blend it down to your neck?

  • I am NC 44 in MAC Indian girl. i loved your video and I actually sampled the makeupforever orange corrector and it worked out JUST PERFECT. Unfortunately, they do not sell just the orange in Sephora and I don't need that palette. Do you think the anti dull primer in carmel do the same trick? Is there any other corrector similar to that orange that you can suggest and that is easily available?(I have already tried bobbi brown and laura mercier) Thanks a ton !! Keep up the good work.- Sonya

  • I am 17 and a model, i have highly sensitive skin. ive never had pimples or broke oout before but ever since ive been usuing make up i have. I use clinique which i heard was a very great healthy makeup but my skin is reacting horible to foundations, my skin color is about the same as yours, do u have any idea of a foundation that may help? and great videos :)

  • I thought the loreal product was kinda watery when I tried it in the store, but for the price compared to the others, I would not mind using it as an everyday corrector until I can fade up these dark spots. But I do love the make up forever...

  • I'm nc50 from mac, I would like to know if the #6 would be too light for me.

  • HOLY SHIT UR FACE LOOKS SUPER FLAWLESS ....THANKS FOR THE VID GURL!!!!!

  • I love this video!! We are the same color.. would u list all the product names for me in this video.?? That would be very helpful!!

  • Your skin is amazing!!!

  • I thank you for making ths video. I have always tested my foundation application against the daylight to determine how I actually looked both in & outdoors. YOUR video is the very first video that I have EVER seen that spoke to this method of testing color accurracy and application of foundation! You are SHARPE sista, and I am also learning from you. I am really glad you did the thing on color correctors too, b/c now I know hw to use the ones I have! LOL! I enjoyed the video and again Thank You!

  • I have my note pad and I am arming myself with knowledge. Your make up videos are very informative. Now, I am off to looking at more of them.

  • I only use concealer how could I be able to use the color corrector without foundation and achieve the same look? if it is possible

  • I would like to know what do you think of the Ruby Kisses brand of foundation that you can purchase in the beauty supply stores? And do you have any makeup techniques for women with deep set eyes. It wasnt until recently when I got my makeup done for my wedding that I realized I had deep set eyes. I cant do the fancy eyeshadows with the multiple colors it looks terrible on me because I do not have enough eyespace.

  • Have you tried NYX Cosmetics Concealer In A Jar CJ13 Orange or Bren of New York color corrector in orange? If so, please review/ share your thoughts.

  • Girl you have completely mastered how to cover up scars but still look natural! I'm definitely trying your technique!

  • Thank you sooo much for this video. I have that dark spots across my cheeks that you love and I don't..lol. Really needed this

  • what brush did you use to apply the loreal studio secrets ? loveee your videos btw girl !

  • I purchased the loreal studio secrets apricot colored corrector and i noticed the light reflectors in it. Is that ok to use if you have oily skin, and to cover hyperpigmentation?

  • love ur voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kemnede Thanks hon!

  • NICE BUT I DNT THINK IT WILL COVER MY SCARS DESTINY :(

  • @MSMONNIEE42 it's al the application. Im sure it would... have u given it a try?

  • thanks

  • im nw 43, would the caramel be too dark for me?

  • @SimplyJoy18 no...it would be great... its more to cancel color not cover.. so the darkness is not huge a factor...

  • @SimplyJoy18 i am an nw35 and its too dark for me and its not really sheer, so i wouldnt try it at nw43 either

  • yes ur face looks great!!:)

  • this video was so helpful THANK YOU!!!!

  • I love the way everything blended together. Would you be able to just set everything and not use a foundation? cause on camera it looks like a great complexion finish already without it!

  • Oh, I have a question. What do you do if you only wear concealer all over your face? I wear Iman's cover cream and highlight with Black Opal. I have had the worst luck with foundation matching so I've been sticking with moisturizer and concealer. Can I still use the color correctors? Thanks

  • Running out to get the primer ASAP

  • Thanks for the video. I was thinking about purchasing that Make up Forever palette, but had NO idea what all the colors were for. The lady in Sephora was really trying to sell it to me too! Thank you for helping me understand what there are all used for! Your vids rock! :)

  • @Chocaz ♡^_^♡

  • when I put my foundation over the correctors with a sponge or brush even in stippling motion I tend to pull up all the "corrector" work I've laid down previously, I'm wondering what am I doing wrong? I have severe dark hyperpigmentation, when I apply my blush & highlighter, they also just drag off more of the concealer/correctors/foundation, at the end after all the layers I'll use a finishing powder I end up very cakey looking, In any and all lighting. What am I doing wrong?

  • @NoraDlist you have to let your moisturizer settle first... also try to keep your product oil free or in the order of oil to oil liquid to liquid and same with powder... hope this helps.

  • Lovely especially the outside part. You skin looks amazing!

  • @lium3 Thanks love ♡^_^♡

  • I have a kind of high forehead, any makeup tips?

  • @pinkysux I have a REALLY high forehead too! Contouring the sides and top with a darker colored powder.. sam fine has an AWSOME technique at some point I will demo it!! Thanks for the inspiration ♡^_^♡

  • @destinygodley Thanks so much! I hope you do because there isint any video on youtube about it. It will be helpful to not only me but many others. God Bless! :)

  • you are the best

  • @callmejbox ♡^_^♡ TY so much!

  • UR face is BEAT! soooo flawless i love it. question tho: is it hot where u are? I live in the bahamas this would MELT my face off!!! i wanna do it cus i have alot of these products but i'm worried that it's gonna be too heavy to wear in the humidity and all that..can i get this kinda look without using as many products?

  • @ewurabenaa No.. it's really light esp the loreal... you wouldn't use all 3 like me. I wanted to kill 3 birds with one stone as far as the dem went... none of these are really heavy or oily... i live in la and it was 80+ degrees that day and was fine as far as sweating and oily skin went... np.. and just be sure to set your foundation you'll be fine.

  • this is sooooooooooooo helpful especially for someone just learning this whole makeup thing, thank you soo much, your skin looks great, i'll be trying this!!

  • @Dejavunatural NP mama glad to help ♡^_^♡

  • Im soooo happy you did this vid. This video help me out so much.

  • @cynmille2000 ♡^_^♡

  • Your skin is to die for gorgeaous

  • @TheMonkeyDidIt thanks darlin!

  • What would you use lavender color corrector for?? to cover yellowness??

  • @PrincessDjedai yes like if you have heavy yellow in the face... or bruising.

  • How do you the HD carmel primer on the top or under your foundation ? for hiding or highlighting ? thanks you

  • @Muslolyic u use it underneath or as a highlighter if you are really deep... you can use it like a moisturizer to give skin a radiant glow from within.

  • @destinygodley Thank you Destiny I love your videos :) Kiss from Belgium :)

  • It gives perfect skin but isn't it too heavy to wear ? I have very oily skin and I'm afraid that all the foundation stains....

  • @Muslolyic No.. it's really light esp the loreal... you wouldn't use all 3 like me. I wanted to kill 3 birds with one stone as far as the dem went... none of these are really heavy or oily... i live in la and it was 80+ degrees that day and was fine as far as sweating and oily skin went... np.. and just be sure to set your foundation you'll be fine..
