@Chuuku1803 That's because while Mario Kart is a first party Nintendo game, it's a spin-off series, so it doesn't belong here, as these are the first party Mario platformers developed by Nintendo, not spinoff racing games. The Mario RPGs aren't even developed by Nintendo, and they're not platformers, they're RPGs, that's why those aren't here either.

@Chuuku1803 In terms of Paper Mario and Mario Kart, a possible reason they are not on here is because this is highlighting Super Mario and SMB games only. Since Mario Kart and Paper Mario don't fall into that category, it would make sense why they are excluded from this list. If it was 25 Years of *Mario* then that would include Paper/Mario Kart. Dunno why it's missing SM RpG though :P

I love Super Mario. I can confidently say that he was a bigtime hero for me. I really didn't have many friends in first grade. I was that kid who no one wanted to play with during recess. I pretty much felt lonely until my mom got me a N64 for my 7th birthday and SM64. I LOVED that game and I loved Mario. It made me a happier kid. Mario's the one who got me through the rough times of my childhood and now 11 years later, he's an old friend =D!
