Get past the first thirty minutes - which is great!...you get to know the people, which is the point...then you see the arrogance and ugliness of OUR government who are hell-bound to destroy this community...and it could happen to any of us
Thank you so much! I will share with everybody I know. The truth about Audubon and NPS. I also have been on the receiving end of an NPS ranger. What is going on is absolutely out of control. It makes you mad. It makes you want to take up arms. Maybe that's what should be done...
watching this video has changed my mind, i wanted to work for the nps, but i think i will stay at walmart. something audubon doesnt understand these birds are in all kinds of places wont mention places other than my old home craigsville and fishersville va ive seen them so many other places its just hatteras that they have been dogging, its almost like there is something there they dont want anyone to know about, no metal detectors on beach either
you know ive never driven on the beach but i love hatteras. Ive been coming down for years and have seen how peapole have been hurting. it makes me very sad i still come down every year no matter what i spend all of money at local bussiness, cause of this. i dont understand how aholes from special interests groups really dont know anything, they close beaches say no dogs , but if you look around at night cats cats cats everywhere.a feral cat kills 1000 times more birds than any car ever will
Fantastic documentary. I am a Hatteras Island native. It is a shame that the government is allowing the special interest groups to dictate what folks can and cannot do to live work and raise their families. As Islanders have always done stand and fight. They never have allowed themselves to be trampled upon by any means.
Just to surmise my last statement, my community was under attack by the park service when they were going to take over shackleford banks where my ancestors were born and raised. The camps that had immense history where I grew up as a child, were to be turned over and used to NPS benefit and we were to obtain nothing from it. Luckily the people of Harkers Island refused to turn over our heritage to governmental control. The people of Harkers Island fought hard to maintain what was there's
You know this video is a perfect representation of just how strong a community can be. Being from a small community that has been affected by the NPS I really feel for the Hatteras Community. I as a Disabled Veteran and the companion of a born and raised Hatteras native I WILL DO ANYTHING I CAN TO HELP!
How can this situation be changed to help all people who are concerned?
The people of the outer banks believe that all nature is good and should be supported. However, this American Beach was created for the public - to use, to view and to enjoy. At the present these people are suffering from organizations that have no idea what suffering they have created. It is my wish that thousands of people will be able ot view this documentary and we work to the relief of these people.
Did Hal close finnegans due to the lost buisness from the park?

Time to vote out those who do not fight but run away from special interest groups rather that fight for the American people.
