  • im gonna sound like a bitch sayin this but your choreography is reeeeeeeeeeeeaaallllly boring!! add more movement! add more enthousiasm. were doing this show at my school and we never just walk around in a circle and this is the very first song in the show you dont wanna put everyone to sleep the first 10 minutes...just sayin. but greeeeatttt singingg!! :)

  • I played Perchik in a younger version...your choreography is...interesting...

  • Ooh, I'm in this show. Thanks for displaying!

  • cool! i saw it with Topol on july 23....it was amazing!

  • The choreography makes you look Catholic, even though your Tevye is very good at playing up the Jewish. No prayer hands the way you did them. Just listening to the song and not watching the video is enjoyable. Nice vocals, speaking and singing.

  • the drums at the start sounded like rock lol

  • The cast looks bored to tears! Tradition is a huge opening song and thus supposed to be HUGE and full of movement! The vocals were spot on though!

  • I hate to say it, but your choreography is dead boring... and the band is a bit sloppy, I agree. The acting is good, and so are the vocals, but the choreography... is making my eyes burn. I can't get past it.

  • Prayer hands is not JEWISH get it right

  • Wow, I'm impressed by the cast. :] The orchestra needs a bit of work, though.

  • to slow

  • Its pretty slow. Still Great though.

  • I was the fiddler for this production.. (this is my brother's account not mine lol) and I just wanted to point out that I was following the pit conductor that night (our first performance) and he was the one going too slow. After that night I ignored him haha. He's a little senile. But it's a shame this was the night they recorded.. it went better later on.

  • so to say u weren't impressed with just that then (forgive me if im wrong) but then that means ur not impressed with that bit in every single production, right? or course right! lol

  • i think the acting and everything was very good, but i must say that the orchestra sounded lyk they were all playin summin that they weren't and didn't sound too good, orry for that. and i just wanna say, that hueva has sed the rabbi should say the blessing for the tzar in hebrew....well, i am jewish, and playin tevye in a production in july and never, never, ever has that line been written to be said in hebrew. he doesn't speak it in hebrew, so he can say the line 'far away from us'

  • Sounds good, but the band did sound sloppy, maybe that's just the video quality, I wouldn't know. All I know is since I'm in stage band in my school and we're doing this musical, we're being forced to make it sound PERFECT.

  • our school is doing this musical and im Nachum!! YES!!

  • <333333

    :]

  • your singing was much better than when our school sang it but our tevye had an accent and our dance moves and opening were a lot cooler and faster. the music kinda draged and i had trouble paying attention. you should really pick up he speed and find better dance moves we had about three times as many dance moves that were very easy and very quick.

  • Wow. The cast sounds very very good. I'm not overly impressed with the orchestra, though.

  • I agree. The orchestra could've played much more connected as a whole. But it was ok. :)

Um, the one thing I wasnt impressed with was the rabbi guy with the blessing for the Tsar...I think he should've spoken Hebrew. Would've been much cooler.

I love Hebrew...it's the prettiest language. One of the coolest parts of being Jewish is getting to speak and learn Hebrew! YAY!

  • i luvv watching the actualy performances bcuz i am doing this play in like a week and a half...AHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • the fiddler was way too slow.

but this was put together well.

  • I'm going to be avram.

I was in the ensemble, and then walked into rehearsal to watch the scene when perchick comes to town, and they're like, "are you in this scene? you aren't? alright, you're our avram."... and our avram dropped out, so I'm him...

    and the mule guy...

    and a son...

I think I'll have to slip backstage real quick after the round and slip on a different coat.

  • a tad slow

  • All of these are fantastic, thank you for posting them! These actual performances give me such a better idea of what to do than the movie... I just got cast as Golde and I'm so excited :D

  • I miss this show so much...I was Fyedka, the young Russian

  • I love Fiddler on the Roof xD

    I missed this

    thanks for uploading it!

  • I am only 12 and I got the part of Tevye in a highschool play

  • were doing this musical .. im the woman i love tradition.. to life is a cooler song tho.

  • Tonight is our closing night at my high school...I'm Yente the matchmaker...with a ton of liquid latex for wrinkles! lol
