  • 129spl.... is this a good sounding box or just loud?

    4000watt... not really =)

  • Next time you need to see if you can get that K system to fit in the back of a K-Car! (sorry couldn't resist)

  • JAJAJAJAJA YOU SUUUUPEEERRRRRR GOOD, !!!

  • hahaha !! cool :D

  • hello what size are the speakers???? are they 10 inch???

  • @penco8 He said K12's in the video...12"

  • thanks for sharing

  • that's what I got ! QSC rocks!!!!!!

  • I used to put 6 jbl eons in a honda civic, two turntables, lighting truss, speakers stands, lights, cables, wires etc. All in to a two door 2001 honda civic ex. I've been there.

  • you are an amazing human being and you inspire me, i have the same setup thanks to this video. cept for kw181 subs, i take a bigger car if i gotta take 2 subs. thank you so much!!!

  • AWESOME video!!! Great info and great to watch!!! Thanks so much!

  • Great Video! Thanks for sharing..

  • Been looking at some of your videos.. nice productions. I hope your aware that if you even get in a small accident your done for...as little as a 25 mile an hour hit. that metal dj stand lying on the sub not tied down would be fatal... not to mention the subs easley breaking through the seats....please be careful..! .. ps. put the stand on the sides or lay a sub on it.

  • @DJCKBaltimore Yeah, that's a great point. We take for granted that our travels will be safe. Thanks for your comments.

  • Hahaha! This video is great! Being in the market for a new QSC K-series system & a new vehicle, I had concerns on which vehicle to get that would accomodate all the equipment. This video just answered all my questions! Thanx!

  • @UnfadeableIsaiah dude, i was in d same boat, i have d same setup and i could not be happier...lol love this guy!!!

  • do you recomend using subs in individual units?

  • @gongacorreia If you mean using a single sub by itself, the answer is absolutely YES. One sub is better than none. Although I'm a "two-of-everything" kinda guy, just getting one sub added to your system will make a nice difference.

  • @BassIsLoadedve two carvin speakers with 1 twiter and 1 16 inch colune and two jbl with 1 twiter and a 12 inch colune. would it improve the sound if i get a separate sub? i think the 16 inch colunes does the jog of the sub the carvins have 400w and the jbl 175w

  • Try a Miata. U can do that I'll be impressed.

  • What is the brand of the speaker stands he has in this video?

  • @donluv Ultimate TS-99BL. Available from agiprodj.

  • Your AWESOME!!!!!!! I wish I had a DJ setup like yours! Can you give any advice?

  • hi, i 'm just a beginner,i have one speaker SAMSON AURO D415 (15"),what do you recomend ,buy a sub or the other speaker, also why the PEAK LED sometimes turn red light ,and what should i do and it is normal? thanks, i like your videos..

  • Hi, I'm dj. I live in Brazil, it would be better for me to use the jbl dual 18, 18, or two separate?

  • oooo YEES, this its my dream for mobile Dj

  • for a party for around 300 to 550 people would you recommend a mixtrack pro or vms4? pllsss help

  • @Mrdetail41 Can I say neither? :o) That's a tough one to answer, it really comes down to personal preference. Of the two choices, the VMS4 is the one I'd rather take to a gig. Heavier build, better quality, balanced XLR output, etc...

  • @Mrdetail41 to be honest, why would it matter what mixer you use? i use the mixtrack pro for everything i do. weddings, clubs, bar's, house parties, theme parties. the only thing that would matter when it comes to the amount of people is how many watts your pushing. the more watts the louder.. it all will come down to either the amp or if you have powered speakers how much they will push out.

  • how long is the power cord for the subs and speakers?

  • @Mrdetail41 My subs use 14ga IEC cables that are 1 - 3' long, they are shorties. For the tops I use the same gauge, but longer (often times 25' length).

  • :O

  • MMGAAAAASSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • How many K-series speakers do you have?

  • Are the k subs good sounding?

  • is the k 12 good for 300 people party?:)

  • Somehow I got back to this video that I seen after you posted it last year, but it took me until now to realize what the license plate reads! lol

    -Drew

  • OK TRY THAT WITH TWO 18'' K SUBS...OH & EY I WANNA GET THE 18'' I WANTED TO BUY THE ONES U HAVE..LOL IM SERIOUS!!!

  • LOL!..

I just picked up the new LED "Jelly Fish" lights..I am happy with them so far..I often DJ gigs in old halls or outdoor events using a generator which limits my ability to use high wattage lights. Due to YOUR videos I am upgrading my system to the QSC K12's..Thank you for your impressive, knowledgable videos!

  • @bargaindj Cool! Be sure to check out agiprodj.com for the K12's!

  • light show?

  • @bargaindj One very small LED attached to my keychain. :o)

  • YOU FORGOT YOUR CHAIR!!! LOL!!!

  • i can fit my qsc 10"s & ksub in my nissan altima coupe w/ my dj equipment :)

  • How much would a system like that cost?

  • @fatso330 Probably $6-8K depending on the mixer, controller, software, etc. Somewhere in there.

  • toyota should have paid you for making this video this a great advertisement for the prius

  • I have a question please answer, Ok For Classic rock or Blues what is better Active speakers or Passive speakers? i wanted to buy Peavey Passive speakers Or QSC Active speakers for active speakers what is Better QSC or db Technologies?

  • Hey Bro, currently my system consist of two jbl mrx518 subs, 2 jbl 512 tops...I've been seeing the hype surrounding the k series...Haven't seen anyone with 4 Qsc ksubs, and 4 Qsc k12's, which is what I'm looking at probably getting....Would it make more sense to get rid of my present gear and get the 4 Qsc subs and tops, or should I just add two more jbl subs and tops....Which would give me more thump?...thanks in advance

  • u use virtual dj?

  • @chrisstugots2 Nope...Serato Scratch Live

  • @BassIsLoadedDJ whats serato? lol jk, i thought i saw vdj in one of your other vids but thats really cool i've been watching some of vids how is the dance music scene on that side of u.s. im from ny

  • Dude that was great !

  • I fit 2 jbls and an amp in my mini cooper... BEAT THAT!lol beautiful speakers.

  • Its no PREEUS its PRIUS lmao

  • @jazzyjaxroadshow It's pronounced "PREE-US" not "PR-EYE-US" - call Toyota. :o)

  • @BassIsLoadedDJ Its PR-EYE-US in the uk lol

  • It looks like you may have also had some HPR series speakers. How would you compare the sound of the K series to the HPR series?

  • @nickstefani The HPR was a good series, I definitely don't want to take anything away from them. The K-Series just have so much more engineering built into them and flat out sound better. Like all technology, it's out with the old, and in with the newer and better. K-Series is newer, and a whole lot better.

  • Ha! exhausted......

  • Just think what else you could have fit in there if you were using the QSC Poles off of the subs.

  • Very cool (&funny) video Rick. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Steve.

  • I've done 22 events since purchasing the K12s last year. I try to use a sub, but the sound is drowned out by these monsters so much, that I've gone so far as to not use my k12's. I see the 18's are finally ( KW18 <- or something like that ) out and not much heavier that the ksub is currently.

  • With those K12's, how often do you use those ksubs?

  • @BigMixxx71 I use some kind of subs with almost every event. The KSubs are reserved for smaller venues where I don't need a pair of 18's.

  • What type of trailer is that? What are the dimensions? Looks to be 6x10x6. I really want to know the height as my garage entry is not too high. Thanx!

  • @Techspert Techspert...great question! You may have been referring to the tote video with the trailer? You're correct it's a 6x10 trailer with a custom height (i think 74") that clears my garage by about an inch! It's a CargoMate. Love it! Door is actually a ramp with some wood panels on hinges that I custom built that allows me to wheel everything in and out without lifting. Thanks for watching.

  • from now on, im going to refer to a prius as harry potters tent

  • very nice setup and video. Great info

  • @dcool Thanks a bunch!

  • i have the k-10s and they are awesome really loud and clear for such a small speaker system, i allready had the 181 qsc sub so ill stay with that. my set up is 2 k10s one 181 sub, laptop and the vci-300, misl speaker stand and wires etc, and yes it does fit in my ford focus, that 181 is bulky and 130 pounds so lots of time it stays behind. i do not use it in small venues.

  • good vid

  • That's awesome. I just wanted to let you know you had inspired me to buy those instead of the JBL EON's. I had seen a few of your other videos with the QSC's and went to check them out for my self at the guitar Center. Im buying two new systems for the two additional DJ's working for me. I might even give one of those guys my JBL's a to use and Ill take the K's. Lol. Thanks for the videos!

  • @potentmedia Glad they helped! Don't forget to contact agiprodj to get great prices & service on the K-Series and other DJ gear.

  • Thats great . I have a nissan altima and if this system can fit in a prius ... it definitely would fit in my car... Great vid!!!!

  • So funny AND relevant, Rick! I load my Camry with 3,000 watts the two K-10's and One KSub, plus a karaoke monitor, etc... Now that I know what will fit in a Prius, I could go that way! Keep 'em coming, Rick. You are helping me be a better DJ!

  • That's so great to hear Casey. We all can be better DJ's. You can. I can. So glad the little stuff I do helps you.

  • This is good... If the accelerator gets stuck, then hopefully the weight will slow it down some. Just kidding. Great video!

    -Aaron

  • I was waiting for someone to make that comment! Good one Aaron. I've been joking for so long about putting a lift kit on the prius. You never seen them jacked up 4x4 style. Bet that would turn some heads, get the ladies steppin to me. :)

    Thanks for watchin.

  • @BassIsLoadedDJ . If you are ever looking to change vehicles, I would recommend the Dodge Grand Caravan. They have more cargo space than an SUV, can comfortably seat 7, and is also lower to the ground for easier load in/outs. And the best part is.... 27mpg. :-)

  • Hah! I've actually owned two Caravans. Been there, done that. There are nice.

  • Imagine how awseem it would be if you could power them subs and speakers in your car when on the move.

I bet the subs would shake it.

  • that is so cool!

fits in nicely with plenty of room

  • Wow i love it i really want to hear thsse in person.

    So funny

  • Time for djs to buy a prius!

  • Indeed. I actually bought that car on ebay. One of the best things I've ever bought there. And it balances out the carbon footprint of the SUV. At least that helps me sleep at night. My little way of paying it forward. :o)

  • what is the name of the stand you use for your dj rack mixer case...

  • probaly oddesy based on that model number

  • I can't remember for the life of me who made it. I picked it up about 3 years ago and it was being discontinued at the time. One of those lucky purchases I guess.

  • @partymastersdj I found it it's a on stage ks7150 keyboard and dj stand.

  • @irgarza52 Yep! That's the one.

  • what is the name of your DJ Rack and where did you purchase it.. Thanks

  • Yeah that little table is slick can you tell us a make a model maybe we can hunt it down. Thanks great video.

    Big I

  • Great video Rick! thats hilarious! Love your "breaks" in the middle of packing!

Btw, what is the table you had your rack on? Thats a good idea!

  • That is a folding and expanding DJ stand. I picked it up a few years ago and I think it was being discontinued at the time. Pretty slick little thing.

  • all of that AND a dj ty? now that is just sick!

  • If you had only seen the amount of space we had getting into the front seats. Now THAT was sick.

  • @BassIsLoadedDJ hahaha. yeah, i don't think i will be getting a prius anytime soon. you have now convinced me to sell off my 181i and two hpr152s, and go with the ksubs and a couple of k12s. especially since my two main helpers are now college kids and not available like they used to be to help out at gigs.

  • theres even room for a laptop

  • You gotta do the breaks in between! Great video! I own a Toyota Yaris(much smaller than a Prius) and I squeeze in a whole yound system lus lights and stands. But the point is good though: its incredible what you can put into these small cars.

  • you forgot a table plus the xlrs and headphones plus extension cables and what about lights?? lol but still very nice.

  • Well it just so happens that there were XLR's and power cords in the tote bags, headphones always stored in the mixing console. And the lights?? My front seats come out and actually transform into two 4-foot cross bars with custom LED's. Oh yeah.

  • Thats how i gig every weekend....but in a Renault Magane 2 and with lights.....

  • you forgot about lights!!!

  • rick - great video!

I picked up a pair of qsc k12's - they are nice! I am thinking to get the subs next!

  • did Toyota pay you for that video lol just kidding bro that's cool. keep the good video's coming i learn alot from you thanks.
