I have heard of this movie but never seen it. I did however read the book when I was in grade eight and had to keep it well away from my one younger sister because she kept taking it reading and I really didn't want her reading it because I only had it for two weeks before it was to go back. I remember reading that his own mom was abused by her own mother father and step-mother when she was a child.
I remember seeing this movie as a child, David was about the same age I was at the time of the incident. I searched all over the web for this movie. Thanks for the upload.
