this is a awesome song and as im sure you are getting it is by sam the sham and the pharaohs. The Animals never did this or did a version of this song. but thanks for posting it :D

Yep...despite how "SURE" the poster is that this is The Animals doing this song, it IS in fact Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs. Now I will not speak to whether the Animals did a cover to this at some point, but there is NO way to mistake the the voice of Sam here....just every little inflection and cadence gives it away....sorry to burst the bubble of the "expert" :->

I always believed the Animals did this, but after hearing this and seeing comments, not so sure. Checked out Animals discography on Wikipedia, but can't find version on any of their albums.

if you look for the sam sham and the pharos you will find that the voice is them. the animals never sang this. unless history is wrong it was only done by sam sham and the pharos
