How are you able to put "Fortify Destruction" on both enchantments per item? I can only do "Fortify Destruction" once per item and I have to do something else as my secondary enchantment. Is it because you are using PC and I am using Xbox 360?
@SS4Xanatos because when you max enchanting out there is one perk that allows you to put more than one enchantment on an item at a time. I think you need it to be level 70 or higher in enchanting very easy to get there. Hope that helped.
@mpserrano1 I'm familiar with the "Extra Effect" perk on the Enchanting Tree but it does not allow you to put the same enchantment twice on one item (For example you cannot put Fortify Destruction on an item twice using this perk). However, you can put Fortify Destruction and - for example - Fortify Restoration on the same item; but you cannot put Fortify Destruction on the item twice at once. I have tried that and I cannot do it. If there is a way to do so, please tell me how to do it. :-)
@propagandanova just get a lot of soul gems, then go hunt some animals with a weapon with the soul trap enchantment (I used the "katana" from the blade base on riverwood's inn), when you get a good number of filled soul gems go and grab random items to enchant, or you can craft iron daggers to raise your smithing at the same time...
@propagandanova save all your iron daggers from smithing a lot of people will just sell them, but it's a good way to get enchanting up. enchant them with absorb health it will give you a good profit along the way. you can either buy your soul gems or collect them throughout skyrim. once you have them, store them all in your inventory and either enchant a soul capture weapon or use soul traps were ever you go on every single enemy. it's about the only way to do it.
@xPLAiiiN1337 if you're looking for destruction class the hooded thalmor robes are a good item to disenchant, enchanted items are random in each and every game so yeah if you happen to come by a thalmor mage.. kill him for his robes, a good place would be in markarth where the three thalmor people are pacing around in the Jarl's underground keep. Sneak kill or cast a fury spell on him loot his robes and disenchant it. be aware there are guards in the keep so sneak kill is best.
How on earth did you get the Fortify Magica Regeneration to 62%? Also Fortify Magica only goes to 50 as well. I have seen several videos using this technique yet all of them have the 62% yet nobody states having done anything extra to get that extra 12%. I am using the best Soul Stones as well, Grand and/or Black. I am also on the Xbox 360 so I am wondering if it is a bug.
@Butternut8000 I got it to 70% with reduction to 28%, get enchant perks to skill 100 & use the middle tree aka the skills version, fill to 5/5 then get an "enchanter elixer" potion, the one with 25% & of course grand souls.
I tried to create this last night after getting Smithing and Enchanting to 100 with all the proper perks. For some reason when I go to enchant the items it lets me do 25% Destruction spell reduction but only goes to 50% magica regeneration.
how do you put 2 enchantments on 1 piece of gear? Or do you get the 2 enchantments from a single item? Like Mercer's sword which lets you absorb health and stamina from enemies.
you can enchant destruction and restoration from between 1-29 % on each of the 4 apparel peices. any destruction equipped to one hand, and any restoration equipped to the other hand is an infinite free attack and defense AT THE SAME TIME! you wont even need an armor or anything else but if u like the looks go for it.
PS. when u mention this build, please use my name as the inventor. I originally came up with this idea based on my own research. I named it "INFINITE ENDLESS"
@sorooshusa That's cool, I like the different ways people use these builds, it's what makes Skyrim so awesome. And, yea I just prefer the cool armor. :)
I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THE GOD DAMN ENCHANTING WORKS!! Ive been looking at thousand of videos to get 100% no magicka cost like that but WHERE DO I START!? I get a SHITLOAD of problems trying to get this: I dont have the enchantings, i dont know where to find them, I found some magika enchants BUT i cant use them twice, I have 100 enchant 100 alchemy 100 whatever the fuck i need, PLEASE help me lol im desperate
@pichulick Reference 2:19 And you add a spell to "favorites" on the menu, and then when you open your favorites (this is for PC** Xbox doesnt have the quickchange like this) press a number on the spell and it will assign to numbers 1-9 and you just press the number for the spell you want. Hope that helps.
Deadric armor is better then dragon and u can do the same stuff to it but resteration is better the regen this is realy cool I've seen it befor but u used more then one spell :3 U SHOULD HAVE KILLED THE JUARL!
@mmckee333 Yea Daedric armor is heavy though, being mage I dont level any perks that help the weight of heavy armor, while dragon scale is light armor/smithing. Much better for this class, but any melee class I definitely use daedric. :)
@ham1L2Ts Just Disenchant any of the lower level destruction robes for the enchant, and when you level you're enchanting using the build on this video it'll be 25% when you add it to the armor/items.
How do i like do this dragon armour enchanting is it really hard if it is i will just stick with archmage robes? BTW i just got the game so im like a noob it will help if someone tells me please:)
@dragonegg2603 just find a robe that lowers destruction magic cost (you can find one in the dark brotherhood sanctuary when you kill the mage guy) and max out the very first enchantment perk (which requires lvl 80 enchantment). once you max out the first one then you should have 25% reduction cost on destruction spells.
@FrigginGenius69 ok what i mean to say is i got archmage robes, it has 15% reduce magika use for all spells and magika regen 100% i am just wondering if i disenchant that get dragon armour and max enchantment it i will be able to make it 25% all spell recution and 100% magika regen even if it is just on the armour
@guitarshredder59 I used No stones, you can watch my other vid on how to level enchanting/smithing and I explain in detail why you need no stones. You wont be disappointed.
@ZehOverClock You just take any of the adept/novice robes of Desctruction and disenchant them which will also give you the Magicka Regen enchant. But in order for it to be the 25% value you must have at least lvl 70 disenchant (follow my how to video) and must be level 100 enchanting to put Two enchants on any item to get this build.
@FrigginGenius69 Hello friend. I've pretty much watched all of your videos on your mage, you are one of the only people that I've found that has videos for this and how to achieve this armor set. I have one question though. Did you spend your level up points on magicka, or did you go str8 health or a mixture? I started my mage a few days ago and have been doing pure magicka, but knowing now I can make this armor I'm thinking it was a mistake.
@jumin369 I mostly leveled Magicka and only leveled health to 250 by the time I was level 36. If you notice your dying to fast level your health next chance. but if not..put it into magicka. Dont even need to touch stamina as a caster.
@FrigginGenius69 I am strangely trying for a no magicka mage, With the reduce cost, I have no need for any magicka when using destruction, and I think about 80% reduct on alteration, because I require my 20% of magic resist to be immuned. Anyway, I will for sure have a 100% reduction for conjuration... I only boost health
Magic immunity is simple (How i build it):
-Breton race (sorry guys, but its easier like that)
Dude I got a few questions and i would be grateful if you could answer them. Will lightarmor always be better than robes if i want to be a strong pure mage? And if so is dragonscale the best? Thanks ;)
@ThePlaystationPanda Yes, the Dragonscale is best because you can enchant it so it has the same benefits of robe, except your not squishy and die easily because you have protection. If you dont want to level your enchanting then stick w/ robes. Play however you like...but I personally dont like having to keep casting *mage armor* all the time under alteration. I keep my protection all times because of having light dragon armor and am free to just wreck dudes w/ my magic.
@FrigginGenius69 hey so...total noob here, skyrim is mah first rpg. Could you please give me a simple explanation of this enchanting stuff? And would a two handed, heavy armor orc need to do it?
@KaiserBullet Hey Kaiser, you actually would want to focus on Smithing. Which is the improving of weapons and armor for Warrior characters such as your two handed wielding Orc. Enchants can benefit you somewhat, but not as much as a mage/archer who uses ranged/magic and depends less on brute force. Watch my video on smithing and/or leveling smithing/enchanting. Hope that helps.
how come when i enchant my ring and amulet it only got 16% reduction???
