@TheKeyboardPiano Synthesia, a computer program that allows you to view any and all MIDI audio files, the program shows the keys to press to play the song in its sequence.

The program is called synthesia, look it up on youtube or just google it for the website. It's a free download.

However the full program you have to pay for, although it still does what I said. You can still learn things.

I'm sure a quick internet search would yield results on an MIDI of this song, and many like it.

@CloudCANSmile That's absurd. Playing without variation is arguably playing it more "perfectly" than with variation, since the composer wrote it as he intended it to sound.

What do you even mean by variation? Interpretation of dynamics is up to the player, and thus this is as "varied" as anything you may play. As for rhythmic variation, playing every note on beat as the composer intended is "perfect", and any changes in rhythm marked by the composer are up to the player to interpret.

Constructive criticism: Try to space your triplets out a bit more. You rush the three notes, then end up having to hold the final note too long.

Other than that, a few wrong notes here and there, quite timely usage of tempo rubato, nicely balanced volume between the melody and the accompaniment. I'd say 7/10.

I agree, this piece is very beautiful. I realize now I pretty much taught myself to play piano with music from Final Fantasy VII. :) I never had much interest in playing until a friend lent me a copy of the game 4 or 5 years ago, and now I can't go a day without practicing something from the Collections.

Doesn't matter that it comes from a video game. Everyone who hears it appreciates the music, even people who have never heard of the game. Isn't music just grand that way?
