I´ve been listening to Son of Dave for a while now and this was another fresh apple in the basket, another great Dave
Is that an Astatic 200 he´s using,do you know what element?
I have a Harp Attac myself, aswell as an Harp Octave and Harp Delay fr Randy, such great pedals, I´ve always been against pedals but after hearing these I ordered 3 fr USA and I´m happy as ever with them, helps alof with feedback as well, best regards fr Sweden, you kick ass yourself by the way!
@bigcubics Hi, yes 'another great Dave', ha ha. Hopefully he'll get more recognition when his debut album comes out next year. I think he says early in the recording that it's a 545 element. Dave's music is another fine showcase for how pedals can be used tastefully by harmonica players to travel new creative avenues. Awww thanks for the compliment too! Lee
Awesome, I recently got the same loop pedal you've got there but my harp practicing has still been focused more on the basiscs and have not gotten around to exploring its potential. This was a great vid, very informative, and I will definately be watching this and any other loop vids you have out there to help me learn to youse the pedal I have before adding any others to the mix.
@BluestimeLee6 Glad you enjoyed Dave's overview. He certainly makes it look easy when he plays, but it's hard to do well. You'll definitely have some fun when you start using your loop pedal. May be contact Dave on YT and ask him if he would post some 'how to' vids on using pedals. Never know....
Great to hear Dave talk through his rig! Lot's of good stuff to think about! I especially liked seeing that he's using the quite affordable danelectro octave pedal... Very cool!
@isaacullah Yes it seems you don't have to spend huge amounts of cash to get some interesting pedals. A couple of them open up some new possibilities in a solo or band context. Not everyone's cup of tea but I hope most people would acknowledge the creativity and innovation.
very informative love your stuff to very best wishes Harmonicadave
