  • now that was awesome

  • That's great

  • at 1:50 he put his hand out the window

  • pretty sure that b4c 3rg gen = WIN!

  • Proof that cops CAN out drift you!

The stig would be so proud. XD.

  • Great video. That's why most people can't get away

  • HOLY MOSES!!! These guys sure can drive! I love the old Caprices and 5.0L 'Stangs and also that Camaro that was seen a few times in the lead! Those old pursuit cars had character and soul...

  • DRIFT!!!!!! one of the few techniques that aren't practiced anymore! AWESOME!

  • I half way expected one of them to break formation and climb 3,000 feet and barrel roll

  • No joke looks like chp raped the crap out of those cars ..

  • This is.what I do in the freeways in los Angeles lol

  • what a cool job ! every day drift with this cars ! lucky guys

  • B4C Camaro FTW!

  • this is why you dont mess with California Highway Patrol, lol

  • How it is possible that those guys won't let have fun like this to others on the public roads? ;(

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    charlesthepoet2003

    THANKS.

  • What about that Camaro? It says nothing about the Camaro!!

  • That was the best driving and love those cars!!!!!!

  • That is so cool. It looks like a lot of fun.

  • @tubesteakdynamo. My dad owns the EVOC mustang that is in the lead in this video. He purchased it from the CHP in '04 and it still has the roll cage and it has the standard Ford 302 crate motor that the CHP had installed by the local Ford dealer in Sacramento shortly before my dad got the car. The mustangs didn't have any souped up motors, they were stock 5.0 v8s that were also standard in GTs.

  • @oneof6kmustangGT

    ------------------------------

The police package 5.0s had an additional engine oil cooler and a souped up alternator. Other than this, they were indeed stock

  • 4 thief dislike

  • lol the iroc left them all..

  • At 1:35 I was like...

"Oh damn he lost control, ah well, nobody's perfect..wow he fixed it up, lucky"

Then I realised it was part of the show and they are perfect.

  • hay que pensarle dos veces antes de uirles a ellos hahaha!!!

  • See when I try this crap I get pulled over :(

  • nice lol

  • wow, they had some close calls there

  • i want a Caprice so fucking bad, you dont even know

  • Yeah I watched this same stuff. When I was there, they were using like '97 Camaros and the new Chargers, along with some normal cruisers. It was insane. They were doing 360s and crap right in front of our faces.

  • Awesome driving skills! Yummy you get 5.0 Mustangs for breakfast then IROCs for lunch and 9C1s for dinner, for some men they just died and gone to heaven.

I love these big sedans, specially the caprices.

  • i agree i like all the big sedans. sad that caprices are gone and the crown vic is gone now too. the chrager is still here but does not do it for me.

  • @jbrian80, They aren't really "5.0" though it does say that on the side. Those cars were custom built for the CHP with the same supercharged 360 (5.9) in the Ford Lightning. The rollcage is actually Ford factory installed and the suspension was designed by Ford Germany. 6 sped tranny, btw.

  • that looks for europeans bizarre... minimum safety distance not for us police?? ... 360 turn around... should they be prepared for skateboarding or snowboarding?? lol

  • These drivers need some remedial training, then maybe they can take the training wheels off lol

  • Mustang S.S.P is best police car build ever. They should continue with it for sure.

  • Cool video, but do you have a better quality version to upload? I'd love to see this in HQ.

  • WTF???

the drivers are really esperts!!! respect

  • Drifting kind of neccesary, kind of not. Every car losses control, but with some great tires and lowered suspension and center of gravity, then it becomes somthing to show-off to the reporters, I would love to desighn the perfect cop car. I am drooling!

  • the smile on his face at the end is priceless

  • ugh why do they keep losing control or is it part of the practice?

  • Thats part of it lol!

  • is it really? lol didnt think about that lol

  • Yeah they are drifting... Every CHP officer must know how to drift and basically stunt drive lol... They go through a hardcore class called EVOC... I only know about it because my mom had to go through it because she works with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and they have to do EVOC also. If Im correct all law enforcement goes through EVOC... I just think CHP takes it more serious which they should

  • Comment removed

  • @ Goudaentertainmentxx, Emergency Vehicle Operation and Control (EVOC) is for All forms of emergency personnel. Police, Fire, Medics even the Highway Incident Responders (TDOT, or FSP here in CA) must EVOC qualified.

Some state even require EVOC training for Tow Trucks.

  • They never lose control...

  • they can in pursuits open ur mind!!!!!!

  • Open his mind? How about you shut your mouth!!!!! No shit they can lose control in a pursuit.. He is talking about the demonstration to which they do not lose control.. Idiot.

  • hey u shut the fuck up im only 10 yrs old go fuck ur self

  • Watch your little mouth little boy.. Someone might wash your mouth out with soap.

  • sometimes ur not worth it so u need to shut up my pharapist has enough to deal with

  • whaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!! bravoo!!! best police drivers on the world!!

  • these cops should compete at D1

  • Even the Flash would have trouble outrunning these CHiPs.

  • i would do horrible, unspeakable evil things to own one of those delicious 9c1 Camaros

  • And 3rg gen Camaro - the best :D

  • Love both models. The old 5.0s and the 350 caprices.. NICE

  • These cops sure know how to wear out tires fast! But nice practice. I wish I could do that here in Denmark and still get away with it....

  • is the caprice now highway police?

  • The Caprice hasn't been made sine '96. Some departments were having their Chevys completely rebuilt to keep them in service because of the great speed and power that 9C1 package has. I'm not a Chevy guy, but 150mph out of a Caprice is awesome.

  • and are some still in duty i meen today???

  • No, most of these Chevies have been retired. With the newer CV and Chargers exceeding the performance of the older 9C1 Caprices, there's no need for departments to retain them. The police Mustang hasn't been made since '92.

  • noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • and they aren't highway police as well???? do many civilian caprices drive in the USA??? (for example is new york or los angeles)

  • You can still find Caprices around, usually pretty cheap. There were many civilian models, but the ex-police cars are still around. The best years to get are the 1994-1996 Caprice with the 5.7 liter engine as it was the LT1 engine which is the same as the Camaro/Firebird and Corvette of those years.

  • Your mother may be larger then normal humans, but that's no way to talk to her.

  • B4C police package Camaro's always impress me. Not sure what Chevy does to them, but they're always riding on rails and fast as hell

  • I have one of those Caprices; the Police put in high temp thermostats and in slow traffic it was overheating, but with the high engine temp it had insane torque at low rpm. It was hard to park the car w/o spinning the tire a little (!) Also came with a reminder-note in the cockpit what and in what order to report in a pursuit. I still have it.

  • That lead 3rd Gen Camaro was controlled as hell! The 2+ton Caprices were rollin' hard too. :D

  • Sacramento Academy..

That 50 is sick..To bad 95% of CHP officers are pricks.

  • i have lot of respect for HIGHWAY PATROL SOME OF THEM LOSE THERE LIVE IS A JOB I WILL NEVER DO TO DANGER

  • the 9C1 caprice, best interceptor this side of the legendary '69 dodge CHP polara 440! Those mustangs are pretty sweet too!

  • Respekt

  • This dudes!

  • oh shit the popo

  • notchback

  • hell yeah!

  • those guys invented DRIFTING

  • DAM F'IN RIGHT THEY DID!

  • asombroso

  • Do they really need their sirens on the whole time.

  • Hehe.. that short wheelbase and V8 in the front, make it hard to keep straight in the sharp turns.. Awesome little cars though.. especially if you can drive em like these guys.

  • They have roll cages, strange.

  • They're EVOC Units

  • lol you aint gettin away from these cops

  • ive seen EVOC courses before but never anything like this lol those guys are amazing drivers

  • thats California Highway Patrol for you. they're good.

  • Hmmm their driving manuals... thats a first. Never seen a manual squad car before.

  • and you wont again, the mustang is no longer in service for the CHP

  • I whish, I which, I whish I had me one if those Caprices...

  • wow, this is better than nascar!

  • Thats cool, thank god im paying for their tyres.

  • The Crown Vic is my dream car i just wish Ford would put a more powerful motor in it for 2008 maybe like a 32V DOHC V8 like the Lincoln Continental which is FWD

  • It would take Caprices to hang with the Mustangs. A Crown Vic surely couldn't!

  • Quality

  • Blue Angels on the ground, Dang!!!

  • whats this evoc? or just putting on a show?

  • Chps look like they are having fun ....great drivers

  • Not bad, looks like the full size cars hold the turns better.
