The fight dynamics of real fighting are too complex to water it down just to "thrusting fingers" in someone´s eyes. In most fights it WONT WORK.

I did antigrapling and wt under boztepe for 3 years and i say & claim: his 'anti' grappling sucks. The reality of WC can be seen in its actual fights and sparring matches. I've yet to even see one instance of WC trapping in a real fight. It's just like how WC LARPers always talk about their "street techniques" like eye gouges, throat strikes, groin kicks, etc. but in all their videos you never see them doing any of these things except in scripted sequences in which they don't even actually hurt the other guy. Not sure what "window dressing" means but WC MAY be better than absolutely no training at all, but in comparison with other styles such as boxing or judo, fuck no, it sucks. WC can't cut it in a full-contact fighting competition and yet its LARPing proponents claim it will magically work on the street. Do the math. It's bullshit.

Ah, I see. Yes, you're correct. WC is designed to look very fancy, technical and ultimately effective but that's nothing but marketing. The reality of WC can be seen in its actual fights and sparring matches. I've yet to even see one instance of WC trapping in a real fight. All the complex hand movements fly out the window and are replaced by senseless brawling/bitch slapping or AT BEST horrible kickboxing.

"How to defeat Gracie Jiu Jitsu" they'd "teach Royce a lesson anytime, anywhere". Rorion (Royce's brother) said "Let's do it"....boztepe never returned their calls.
He challenged Pardoel & Rutten AFTER he left Holland! Ken Shamrock basically laughed at him.
Gracies offered to pay his expenses if he fight them in their dojo or in front of his students. He never responded.

I also agree that they're not cheap, but hey, if you buy a class-A car it is also more expensive than a trabant, and also someone has to eat from this, and classes are always small.

you can find real martial artists in UFC, k-1, lumpini (muay thai) etc. those people use their skills in combat unlike emin who has only fought against william cheung (who is much older) and that fight looked like a bar brawl

tho i can believe that wingtsun is a "perfect" strategy, its a shame we humans cant follow strategies perfectly,, so wingtsun might not be apropriate for us humans, u must perform ur shit perfectly to control a perfect strategy, its a nice try but i think its to hard to keep ur cools and perform it properly in the heat of battle, we are animals after all..
