It's so cool that the Tiki motel is still pretty much exactly the same haha I think I'd get goosebumps if I were staying in that room- the room John Connor was conceived in! :P A lot of these buildings and places seem to be unchanged other than some external revamps.

Most parts of LA are still the same, just updated. Unfortunately most of the alley ways and such are fenced off as seen in the video. This all started to happen during the late 80's and early 90's due to crime. Watch the movie "They Live" as well. Its a great example of LA and how it looked in the 80's.

I'm sure a lot of the businesses surrounding these famous places and locations are use to the thrill seekers and curious and can spot them easily. I wonder if they grow tired of the looky loos? I suppose there is something magical and rewarding about visiting the locations, but for the locals, it probably gets old for them.

i would like to add that the alley were reese lands is the same alley where arnold falls of the LTD and takes the cop car(broadway&7th,east alley). the parking lot they leave the LTD is the Dpt. of water and power lot. 5:23 on figureroa st up to temple ave turn left and 1/2 a block to the DWP lot

@Jimpsterz that is in downtown L.A 4th st over the 110 freeway. was used in the chase with the cadillac. it leads up to the lower part of grand ave, where it crashes

then used the upper part with the semi truck . lots of stuff gets filmed there.. commercials and movies.. last big movies were die hard 4 and the soloist
