That judge sounds like former contestant Frank Dillon. I remember Jack offering him a job on the staff at the end of one of the tournaments. Wonder if that was indeed Frank.
gsn needs to go back to reality with there programming by airing the jack barry and dan enright programming and the mark goodson bill todman programming because it,s not right to lose rights to the companys i think game shows like the jokers wild and tic tac dough deserve and need a second chance.
@labador5 Hey you just hit the BULLSEYE my man i'm with you on that one GSN needs to go back just being Game Show Network and Not No The Network of WHAT!
@32rodrick I'm with you, they need to bring back Tic Tac Dough, The Joker's Wild, BULLSEYE and Hot Potato or put it on another network, GSN needs to go back to being Game Show Network, not The Network for Games, that's why I gave up watching GSN on an everyday basis
@tvtimetravel True. You did hear the same cues between TJW and TTD often, but there were some cues that were on TTD that were rarely heard on Joker. Like the one I referred to. I do remember one occasion where Bullseye actually used one of the trip prize cues during the bonus round, in fact, that episode is somewhere here on YouTube, can't remember which ep it is, though.
I suspect a prize package like this Natural Triple would probably result in the contestant forfeiting some of the prizes to avoid paying taxes on them. Thom McKee and Kit Salisbury on Tic Tac Dough forfeited and/or sold some prizes.
if i were to see the jokers wild again i would like to see the 1977-78 season the 1979-80 season the 1982-83 season and the rest of the bill cullen run from 1984-86.
@tvtimetravel Actually, the 1982 season premiere is available and it has been for many, many years. Some people may have recorded that season premiere episode in July 1998 believe it or not. Did the 1982 season premiere week used the summer 1983 fee plugs and 10-second ads anybody?
@johnissoevil Yup! the only time I remember that they didn't play the audience game is if a late show spin round ran long (Someone selecting a Fast Forward category and running with it until the time window for having the audience game closed)... :)

OK, I am now convinced that both Wink Martindale and Jack Barry were sharing the same joke book during the TTD-TJW tandem years!

@megamanj2004X And to think by then that they were announced exclusively by Charlie O'Donnell.

Is this an actual episode or just a collage of clips?

I love when they play TTD prize cues on TJW.
johnissoevil 1 year ago
@johnissoevil Those cues were interchangable with those shows, but Bullseye used a different package, but still composed by Hal Hidey.

@labador5 the same here with the ones from the seventies mentioned

i think this was the 1983-84 season where the $25,000 natural triple jackpot win accured toward the end of the season.
labador5 1 year ago
@labador5 It was Jack Barry's last season, before his death on May 2, 1984. Also, starting that season, the audience game was played on every show.
tvtimetravel 1 year ago
@tvtimetravel You're right, save for one thing. They started playing the audience game on every show the season before (1982-83).

@johnissoevil Looks like I'll have to see the 1982 season premiere to find proof, currently unavailable.
