Hi, if you sand the controller with 100, 1500 or 200 grit sandpaper it will be very smooth. You would have to do the two halves of the controller separate and the battery pack separate.

my g15 version 1 finally died. the backspace key and backslash \ key doesn't work anymore, and all the black finish on the most used gaming keys (wasd, space, alt, ctrl, f, e, and g) faded off and the lights dimmed a lot. it was a good 4 years of use out of it. worth the money if you use the macros a lot (which i didn't) or just want a cool looking keyboard

I considered modding my plain microsoft mouse, the only thing I am worried about is that the carbon fiber sticker will change my mouse texture and I wont like the way it feels then. I no I can always take it off, but that would be a huge waste of time and money.
