@Xaeron187 That's true, the original images were in 4:3 format but since 720p is a very small resilution (whenit comes to still photography) there was no problem "cropping" into a widescreen 720p video from the images inside the video editing software. The original images were bigger.
If you shot the images with the highest resolution possible with your camera, it's also possible to "pan" inside the clip to simulate a camera movment.
Sony Vegas 8.0. The "Import" menu option has a setting for "image Sequense" and it will then show up as a videoclip in the timeline. The D5000 Stop motion feature does not support more than 10 seconds of final video I think.
oh man pleaseee i just got a d5000 and i want to make a time lapse of the sky across the front of my house, plane comes by every 10 mins. it would look so nice
@deptofmisc just do it man, and please post! I didn't even have to use power supply. It worked fine with 999 shots with only the battery. Off course the LCD display was turned off!
Beautifully done, like Balet. I have the d 5000 and will give it a go. 1000 shots though!!!! Well done. Marky

bblover58 1 year ago
@bblover58 Set the camera to P. Manual focus and changed iso to 800 and then this is pretty much what the settings ended up with.
Focal Length: 18mm
F-Number: F/3.5
Shutter: 3 sec.
Interal timer: 5 sec.

What settings did you use for this? Also, how do you cut the images to fit 720p HD? The default aspect ratio is some weird 4:3 or so.
Video looks great btw! :)
