  • I agree this electrical version of the song is charmingly sung. Despite my admiration, however, it is a far cry from the brilliance as well as charm displayed in the earlier, acoustic recording. Hempel made a very fine recording of the song as well, but not comparable to Galli-Curci's earlier rendition.
