I have recently buit one of these,

and right now im struggling with how to make the turbine rotate without interfering with the magnet.

But does the cylinder magnet you use touch the copper wire??

What was the diameter of the magnet you used.

And what size pusher prop did you use..for example 11x7...12x8 ?????

I think the led tail fin is not substantial enough to allow the blades to find the wind.

Great project and nice write-up on your site. I would be interested in seeing more about how you charged the (3) AAA batteries (as mentioned on your site). Questions came to mind, like did you have a charge controller or did you keep a watchful eye on the batteries to know when to unplug them? Thanks for sharing.
