This wondrous question was also asked on an episode of "Blankety Blanks", the Australian version of "Match Game". The question was funny on both shows.
This is from Week 5 of MG74. Oddly enough, this is the one week that entire year Brett wasn't on the upper tier. Looks like she debuted in Week 3 of MG73, but didn't become a regular until Week 6. There's a few scattered episodes throughout that year where she bounced between upper and lower tier.
Yeah, I wrote that comment before I knew a little more about the show (or did my research). I do know that sometimes they wanted to put married couples next to each other, and the one time I can recall is the "Batman & Robin" episode where Bobby Van & Elaine Joyce were paired together, and Brett sat next to Richard (though, considering their mutual dislike for each other, I am surprised they managed to stand each other for a taping or two).
@ericandy88 Are you claiming Brett and Richard disliked each other from the beginning (or early on)? This was in '74. Richard started appearing on Match Game in '73. Later on when Dawson wanted to get out of his contract & was near leaving ('78) I could understand if they had a disagreement and it affected things between them but a year after Dawson started appearing on Match Game???
William Shatner...polyester hair...even then....

Oh, lighten up, Nipsey was a riot & so true about the insane asylum.
This had to be from Brett's first week or so on the show since she was sitting on the lower tier.
