Obviously I am a tow truck driver, but what some people don't understand is most of us are just wrecker and rollback operators just doing our job for the company we work for. Just like fire fighters, police officers, and EMTs we respond when called upon by the person who needs our service. Of course the person in need could be the city who says, if you park here, obey the law or we (the city) will enforce the law. Now you have a tow truck company respond. It's not our fault, we're doing our job

Towing companies are notorious for hiring felons. The City of Houston recently conducted an audit of towing companies involved in a new highway saftey program, and they found such an alarming number with criminal histories, they had to postpone the program:

I am a tow truck driver (16 yrs.) Some people get irate but my response is "If it was'nt parked illegally, I could'nt have towed it". End of story. A few have tried to impose their opinion on me "physically" but always wind up loosing on both ends, some of their butt and the vehicle, any game I play I play to win.
