@videoman223 Not really weird-looking. You're seeing it on flat ground. Shortly hence it'll be pushing the coach up some stiff grades, like 1-in-4 IIRC. So the boiler's pitched to be level there, and the drive's via cog-wheel and rack.
Too bad, though, that they use such soft (oily) coal, and make sooooooo much smoke in such a pristine area.
The Engine doesn't couple to the car, for safety resines. when going down the mountain the coah pulls away from the engine on some parts of the mountain
