That is quite true ,,, and as time passed It`s a Beautiful Day made their version closer to Purple`s Child in Time rather than the tune first written by Wallace which they copied ...

Thanks for the post. Cool stuff, I read that they had to actually keep on explaining that they did not rip it off :D. There are actually some videos on YT of Blackmore sitting with an acoustic and explaining how they wrote most of the Mark II songs, including Child in Time..
