Look, the NBA isn't rigged, but this one incident clearly was. Shaq basically says as much in his 1993 biography by Ted Cox (the confession is not unlike OJ Simpson's in "(if) I DID IT". Also, just use some common sense. The basket comes down on the first dunk of the game, during which Shaq barely touches it, and the moment he dunks it he runs away, because he knows it's coming down. And then they just HAPPEN to have a back-up basket ready?! (and back then it wasn't required, was unheard of)
