God forbid, if I left a devoted wife to have a gay relationship, I would still feel a duty to make her life, and her relationship with our child as decent as possible, and compromise with things. Carol did nothing of the sort, ever. Ross was treated like shit from right from the start, that's my point. This storyline just reminds me of that.

However, it was completely absurd of Ross to want Carol and Susan to uproot their lives and move to an entirely different country just because he wanted to marry an English woman. And Ross and Emily's marriage failed almost as soon as it began, so if they had gone along with this ridiculous plan it would have been all for naught anyway.

Yes it has in some countries/dvd boxes. For example I have all the DVDboxes, but I have never seen this scene. It seems like it depends on the country and how old your boxset might be. Because I bought mine on 2005 and in 2007 came an updated boxset, which might include this scene aswell.
