  • The best Dying Swan ever - absolute perfection in every way!

  • There is only one NINA. She is not only a beautiful ballerina, but a beautiful and gracious human being

    :)

  • 2:15 I would like to have a poster (,:

  • Out of this world, if Nina is not the best dying swann, she no doubt is amongst the very best.

  • I watched Ananiashvili dance the "The Dying Swan" live recently, and there were tears streaming down my cheeks halfway through the dance. I consider myself lucky to have watched such an exquisite performance with such an exquisite ballerina. :-)

  • @antifrownpossum In Copenhagen? I completelly agree with you, I could barely believe it

  • iam from Georgia. my name is Salome, when i was little i was waching here ballet iin the georgian ballet castle. i know her. she is verry kind and lovely. i miss nino! but most of her ballets i love the swan lake. please bring it back to Georgia!

  • I tried doing the arm swing and I ended up looking like a chicken..

  • She is the best of all

  • prettyy..haha do her toes hurt after that?!

  • Perfect!

  • her arms look like ribbons when she does that and just OMG!!! BLECH IM JEALOUS!! and dont foget the feet!

  • this is beautiful, but i find it hysterical watchin her arms lol NOODLE ARMS!

  • A GENIUS! Beauty and skill of the highest order!

    PERFECTION!

  • Wow, amazing!!! I feel sorry for her toes!!!! Those shoes she wears really hurt!!! And she's tripping on then like she doesn't even feel the pain, respect!!!

  • @Dancingismydrive But the shoes don't hurt at all....

  • @MaNameIsGrace Believe me, they do! they've got wooden ends. Imagine how that feels while standing on the top of your toes. Most dancers get bleeding toes, than blisters and then callosity, which is really painful!

  • 0:28-0:31 HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • She does look like a swan!

  • god. ruin this exquisite bit of genius with applause in the middle of it. not unlike canned laughter in a 50's sitcom.

  • 9 people are envy there can´t dance

  • BEAUTIFUL. Viva Nina!!!!

  • her arms are disgusting in a very awesome way...

  • Does this woman have no bones in her arms? I would almost certainly dislocate every joint in my arms if I tried to do that

  • @ParanoidAndroidDA hahahah..thats a funny way to put it :D Yeah it looks amazing doesnt it!

  • wacky wavy inflatable arm flailing tube man

  • <3 <3 <3 vamayob !

  • i did that dance 1 for a recital, and OMG it is so hard!!! she makes it seem so EASY when is really HARD!! she does so beautiful, really nice.

  • i did that dance 1 for a recital, and OMG it is so hard!!! she makes it seem so EASY when is really HARD!! she does so beautiful, really nice.

  • she is a divine dancer but I fail to see what the "noodle arms" have to do with a swan dying or even trying to fly... I think ballet sometimes gets caught up in the physical "ability" of a dancer and forget it should mean something... this is not an attack to miss Ananiashvil but a general comment... Ballet should be beautiful, it is so physically difficult and it requires such training to make it appear effortless but it also should not forget the meaning behind the movement

  • @hmmfun

you are right , I think Makarova did it better

  • @selina6479 you should also check out the original dying swan Pavlova the technique back then was clearly not as advanced as today but the raw emotions is something to behold... she looks like a dying creature not some one acting death by making pretty gestures... :-)

  • omg black swan

  • MAN HER ARMS ARE LIKE JELLY

  • I'm here for coincidence. I'm not interested in ballet but can see that it's amazing. How does she do that?

  • I LOVE THIS BLUE LIGHTING!!!

  • Exquisite beyond description.

  • nina is the best dancer i`ve ever seen on the dyang swan all my respect for makarova and plitsevskaya even alonso but nina cross it over made it hers

  • There are some great ballerinas int he world but nobody makes me cry like Nina.

  • its too much. its so perfect. SO BEAUTIFUL. im gonna learn this right now. never tried the dying swan part before.

  • Without equal!!!!

  • Какие божественные у нее руки! Прямо мурашки по телу

  • Natalie Portman could NEVER

  • I got a video of this and was sooooo excited until i skipped to the third act and this dance wasnt in it!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that I saw!!!!) And I am very sad cause i really want this dance, if you have the video of this, can I please get the year and the title( ok so maybe not the title cause that is SWAN LAKE) but deffinatly the year, the year i have is 1992 The centenial special......

  • @4DodgeFamily1 Dying Swan isnt from Swan Lake, its from carnival of animals :)

  • this is so beautiful!

  • Oh my god...She's just amazing! Georgian goddess...Can't take my eyes on her! Her arms,emotions...She's really the Queen !

  • she.is.amazing. that is for sure one of my favorite interpretations of the dying swan. Nina's unbelievable

  • Beautiful port de bras!

  • FAB

  • Bravo!

  • "I felt it. Perfect... I was perfect."

  • @countercouper for God's sake, stop making reference to that movie, it has NOTHING to do with ballet and REAL amazing ballerinas ... Nina Sayers are truely the most implausible character i've ever seen from a movie !

  • Annoying audience. You watch and listen, not disrupt the magic with unnecessary applause every 10 seconds

  • Can you imagine a poor guy dance this version in street dance.

SEARCH for A MORTE DO CISNE JOHN LENNON DA SILVA

    AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm pretty sure than I gonna cry. I really saw a dying swan, and not a ballerina. Nina...was...perfect. Her arms...her legs...her pain and sadness expression! Bravo, Nina! Bravo!

  • Absolutely amazing and breathtaking dance performance. I wish the cello part was performed equally beautifully ... but overall Wonderful! Thank you!

  • Very elegant and breathtaking!

  • dz.magaria

  • Can they not applaud every other second? :| Absolutely killed the mood for me.

  • the best.

  • ulamazesia!!!

  • Oh my goodness her arms! How does she do that? Physically, how is it possible? Wow..

  • @devadasi That's what happens when you don't get enough calcium. Your bones get all noodley. Okay not really. she just has some crazy flexible joints.

  • @devadasi

I bet you its the work of years O_O

  • @devadasi Nono ! it was digitally remastered at Skywalker ranch.. :P

  • cotac da gafrindeba!!!iseti nazi da haerovania titqos martla tbashi livlivebs!!she is so delicate and aerial as if she can fly and waving in the lake!she is georgian!

  • Her entrance is perfect, pity about the dumbos clapping throughout the performance.

  • its great! wonderful! i want to see her die again and again!

  • its great! wonderful! i want to see her die again and again!

  • i hate it when people clap during bellet completly ruins the moment

  • best dying swan <3... she's wonderful )))))))

  • Her arms aren't arms, they're so fluid, and she practically looks like she's flying. Beautiful.

  • I am not a dancer, so I may be just ignorant, but I find that all dancers in ballets are incredible, amazing and allthat you want, but SO much that I don't see the difference between the leading dancer and the other ones.

  • @Elissea the otherones are magnificent, the leading is PERFECT

  • @Elissea I'm not putting down your comment but I am a dancer and the difference mainly is experience, training, flexibility and the ability to become the character. Acting is a HUGE part of the decision of who is to be the lead role.

  • so beatuiful!!! best swan ever!!

  • The movie Black Swan is a only movie, this is real Ballet. Now I only understand 10 % what it must have been to train such moves for years to do it in a way that everybody just thinks it is perfect. I am amazed, and also I was very happy to just looked at this through the movie Black Swan, otherwise I would have not been interested in that theme.

  • this is what perfection looks like =)

  • Her arms are perfeccccct,

  • Estoy en shock! Es algo realmente impresionante!!!!

  • the best dying swan ever

  • that was absolutely magical !!!

  • Probably the best performance of this ballet that I have ever seen...rivals Mikarova...Nina is so much more expressive!!! Viva to new generations of dance!!!!!

  • Technically perfect, lacking emotion.

  • I'm proud that she's Georgian! The best performance i've ever seen...Love nino so much! I think she's better than Plisetskaya....

  • wow goosebumps

  • She is like a dream !!

  • The first time I saw this I am pretty sure my mouth was hanging open ( and I was at the library) and then like thirty seconds it was over i said whoa! and the lady next to me started laughing! She makes everything look so easy!!!!!!!!!! I love love love this!

  • The arms! THE ARMS! Ahhhmazing

  • the elegance of a beautiful swan

  • Her arms are so fluid, best I've seen.

  • that was the worst dying swan ive ever seen, fuuuuuck!!! why did she have to be georgian....l===

  • @ekuna91 dont be so offencive ;@

  • @LaurenBalletStar I'm sorry!! thats how I feel, but I respect the fact that others might love it, sorry if my choice of words offended you..

  • omg! she has no bones in her arms! :O any tips on how to do that?

  • @LaurenBalletStar yes there are ways to do so..... watch her elbows and her hands very carefully!!!!! (that is my tip)!!!

  • @4DodgeFamily1 thank you very much! sloooow moooowww!

  • She´s so free! One of the best prima ballerinas in the world!

  • her arms are amazing!

  • OMG, this is my favorite swan and favorite ballerina! Exquisite performance.

  • Nina, while technically amazing, demonstrates no emotions and likeness of a "DYING" swan. Plisetskaya and Makarova's versions are both far, far superior than Nina's (and I am a Nina fan). BTW, this cello is simply awful!

  • @lcacds i accidentally down thumbed you my bad, i meant the opposite

  • Holy shit, look at those swan arms! She must be some other speicies of human to bend like that!

Natalie Portman, eat your heart out.

  • What a piece of beautiful music and a great performance!

  • This performance is absolutely breathtaking. Her arms are to die for!

  • i love you nina

  • And her name is Nina too! Black swan coincidence?

  • I keep replaying the beginning because the way she is able to move her arms is fantastic. She moves just as graceful as a swan! Beautiful

  • look at those arms. its like an illusion

  • Omg, her arms! They look like they're dissolving into the air. This is beautiful!

  • fantastic! i love nino ananiashvili! i love georgian people!

  • Every time i see this video i think DIE SWAN DIEEEEEEEE!!!!

  • DIE SWAN DIEEEEEEEE!!!!

  • Georgian ballerina Nino Ananiashvili

  • her arms are unspeakably beautiful

  • Oh my gosh, 6 people missed the like button!

  • i could kill the audience for clapping for every single thing...jeez wait till the end

  • @jayzcc83 totally agree. I wish audiences were more evolved & realized how much it disrupts & almost cheapens a breathtaking performance.

  • She's not Russian, like the description states. She's from Georgia. :)

    God she's amazing *_*

  • wow!!!!

  • Nina is incomparable in my book. She's always been my favorite ballerina, and this specific preformance just knocks the wind out of me.

  • Wow... Her arms are probably made out of graceful noodles... Amazing performance!

  • her arms are amazing and the way she turn around is very gaceful!

  • Comment removed

  • Wonderful interpretation. I agree, each ballerina is different, we should not compare, only admire them, when they are great as Nina is. Of course there are other great ones as Plisetskaya, Makarova, etc. but all of them are wonderful, each one with her very personal style, that's precisely what made them great prima ballerinas.

  • I swear her arms are made out of air.

  • Bellisima!

  • So gorgeous, amazing, beautiful, love her, she dance with feelings

  • REMARKABLE HANDS......!!!!!!

  • Georgians ar talanted

  • What an annoying audience interrupting the flow of the phrases with applauses. I guess they had not seen much ballet at all.

  • @PureSoapCleans

I agree, in front of such an ultimate performance we should only use our eyes, ears and our heart, we don't need any other members

This was not a Jazz Session.

    Anyway, magic moment.

  • if this was any ballerinas dying dance they would be proud...this is stunning. her arms are immaculate.

  • BEAUTIFUL SWAN!! i love her arms!!

like always Nina gives us a great performance!

  • ~Pretty~

  • One word: CHILLS!

  • those arms are magnificant

  • Nina is such a beautiful dancer. I could watch her dances all day! I almost cried too:)

  • она прекрасна! she is beautiful!

  • она прекрасна!

  • I think this must be one of the most beautiful and affecting interpretations. Pity about the crass clapping!

  • she is amazingggggggggggggg, beautifull best of the besttttt Ninooo we love you

  • Faboulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wth

  • I just ordered this. :)

  • Beautiful!

    And those arms. Whoa!

  • Do her arms have bones?!?!

    I THINK NOT

  • @superkiwi1000 this is exactly what I´m thinking. Although it´s really beautiful it scares me a little.

  • anyone know where this song can be bought? i tried itunes.

  • Beautiful dancing. Unfortunately, the constant applause from the audience ruins it.

  • simply genius!!!

  • I almost cried... BEAUTIFUL! She LOOKS and acts like a graceful swan.

  • @cycoballerina agreed! I absolutely LOVE this performance!

  • YUsk !

  • @cycoballerina agreed! I absolutely LOVE this performance!

  • OMG ! what is that So Amazing

  • @cycoballerina I DID cry!!!!

  • Beautiful and so Elegant..

  • Beautiful!

  • oh my gosh. she is so amazing.

  • Nino Ananiashvili-beautifulEST woman and dancer from Georgia--we love you Nino!

  • Brava, brava....simply beautiful.......

  • I agree with vodolejka.

Nina has her own merits but I like Plisatskaya expressiveness better.

    I love Plisetskaya' swan!

  • Adore Nino, Thank you so much

  • I saw many dying swans, but she is the best one. she is moving her hands amasing

  • @ninonuza - I agree 100% percent with your comment. Her fluidity is so beautiful.

  • I love this song. And how she dances. I do ballet my self, and i go to a private dance school. the first time i saw this dance, i cried so much. its so beautiful. God bless these dancers.

  • arent there suppose to be loose feathers in the tutu so like it fallsout when she's dancing?

  • WOW.... Bravo!!! all I can say! but look for the parody. It's done rather well also, but it's a funny version of this that still captures the same idea.

  • Never before in my life has ballet moved me to tears. That was, until now. Brava.

  • i am looking for performance of this dance by Galina Mezentseva please help anybody. this is much much sensually. u will see!!!!!!!

  • she is so fantastic and beautiful emotion!

    I love her dancing ....

  • It is very beautiful!!! But watching the new interpretations of the dance I don't have the feeling she is really dying... I don't know why...

  • perfect....grace

  • perfection!

  • that was beautiful. its funny though every version of the dying swan dance ive seen ends in the same position

  • because it's all the same dance, minor differences, but the same dance.
