These days so many keyboard warriors can be so disrepectful to a legend of the sport and Icon of many.... Very sad. Those who talk bad of Roger should find something else to do other than martial arts. It's not what a real martial artist stands for. Roger = humble and a world of talent.
@IMnotSAS. that is such a gay comment. how do you like your men's voices? gurgling and gargling like your boyfriends after ya pumped his mouth with ya knob.
@TheAssWhooper. he doesn't. a typical match for roger is (a) get the takedown (b) establish a rock solid side control (c) get the mount (d) cross choke (e) gets the tap. match over.
gr8 man gr8 BJJ gr8 athlete gr8 interview!!!!!Thats what i love about BJJ tha it is the Martial art of Choices.Everyone can do it diffferently but it will still be correct
Excellent video from one of the greatest grapplers of our time. His philosophy is spot on about being open to learn new techniques, and also about having a strong foundation. Too many people today focus on the flashy and fancy moves that they neglect the basics, that when drilled hard, work every time
@utubesqueeze Agreed. I've never really thought about it in the way that he puts it. Everyone says it's important to have a strong foundation, but why? Like he says at the end, it's so that you can know how far you can go without making silly mistakes.

Nice interview. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a real microphone.
