@haseo011 Even though all game OST's are in loop, there are some that are quite catchy, and easy to be re-heard again and again. But 'Subete no Tamashi no Shi' , or 'The Battle for Everyone Souls' is simply too repetitive! I grow tired of listening this song by the second minute...

Although you have 3 versions to choose from, the original game, FES, which has an added story, and Persona 3 Portable which adds a female story.Its also the version I have. I would also highly reccomend Persona 4 as well.

Oh wow. I've never played Persona... and I'm a big Final Fantasy fan, and LOVE the soundtracks for those games... but this is unmistakably the most epic RPG theme I've ever heard. Must pick up this game NOW.

@peronix8 Yeah i thought exactly the same thing , i just beat Persona 3 portable last month and it is amazing, i like this game than final fantasy now, only bad thing is repetitive dungeons. (btw i have only beat FF7, 10, 13 ) and played 6, 9, 4 a lot but didnt beat.

Damn...#1 or #2....being the Hanged Man that you were when deciding over the two, that was definitely a tough choice. Personally I like this one better because of Akihiko's bouncing with the music. But #1 had its awesomeness too.

You know what? If you're having trouble deciding between #1 and #2, don't bother deciding. Just say that Shoji Meguro owns them both.

This song is so hench that my friend, who has never played the game before, who disliked all of the other Persona 3 songs i tried to play her, instantly loved this song and is now addicted.

But my god, this song is so amazing. Even though Nyx took me an hour and a half the first time i ever fought her, i never even got the slightest bit tired of this song.

Nyx was pretty much a pushover when it came down to fighting his other Arcana types.When he got to his Death Arcana, then a of the sudden your attacks hardly do anything. His Death Arcana was a pain in the ass.

Yeah the genesis was just meh. The almighty was pretty darn good, and I loved fog. However I still like this more than the almighty by quite a bit. However the nyx battle kinda sucked. It was way to long and if you got unlucky (thank god I didn't) at the very end of it he could charm someone like Yukari and diarahan himself.

I went back in my second 100% playthrough and laughed at him as I killed him with Rush mode and then took his final form out with armageddon. Made me happy =P

I just went through 4 different Top 100 rpg battle themes and the top few places are always themes like this - high pitched vocals in the middle.

Its very prevalent in shonen animes like Tsubasa Chronicles which is why i guess i didn't like it - way too common. But i do have to admit having that kind of vocals add a type of epic feeling to the theme.

the true brilliance of this song only shines through if you have played persona 3. The lyrics you here are taken from a different song "prayer to everyones soul" that plays in the velvet room -you spend a lot of time during the game in the velvet room-. The totally unexpected reocurrance of them is what makes this theme the best imho.

Interesting induction you make though, lyrics, especially abridged definetly add drama to a battle theme.
