@zombiekiller3191 PLO AK captured by Israel, receiver was cut and the parts sold as scrap. I got a skilled gunsmith to rebuild the missing section of the receiver, leaving out the part that allows for full auto fire to keep it legal.
@esh325 Actually the receiver was rebuilt from the cut up Russian receiver using some milled plates welded into the missing area, minus the hole for the auto sear. So the front and rear are original, the middle is replaced.
That's a really beautitful build. It reminds me a lot of my Chinese polytech. Is it really a 1960? I thought by 1959 they switched right over to the AKM.
@esh325 I thought that too, but apparently they kept making them for at least part of 1960. The serial number has "M" after it, which is the date code for 1960.

@iLikeToitools I imagine it's a parts kits rifle. He used an American receiver then used some Russian parts to build a semi automatic.
