i prefer G&G over any brand out there. i have a Combat Machine M4 and have not had a single problem with it in about a year of using it. my friend has a VFC M4 and has already stripped his piston in under a year. G&G's aren't built to be fancy. G&G's are built to last!
@dragonfire77721 the top chamber is an addition from G&G that controls the mock bolt's blowback. the mock bolt is this transluscent thing you can see over the gearbox in the video. basically, when the cylinder head is released, the pressure also leaks air into the top. the pressure pushes the bolt back, but is soon overcome by the spring for that upper cylinder, and the air is actually pushed back into main cylinder area just before the cylinder completes its shot. no wasted air, genius!
i love my G&G GR16 m4 with blowback this is the best rifle i have ever had and i hope to buy their new raider with blowback and there is no power decreases with the rifle and the peice that blows back makes my rifle unique from the people i play with i love G&G's airsoft guns i am hoping to buy from them again
good video and everything, but it could mislead people about the power of the actual blow-back. the gun does not have any recoil whatsoever. just a moving bolt cover. so if you guys want these guns for realism, they're not for you. go with a marui electric blow-back if you want recoil and quality.
Is it really that confusing? The spring release, on some m4/16s, decompress the spring. For example, if you half-cycle a gun (as in the piston goes back, but does not go forward) you can just press the button to release the tension, so the spring doesn't lose power, lowering your feet per second. It's not complicated..
I own the Top Tech m4... Altough it costs in my country 380€... It is worth every cent! With 310fps it has a longer effective range then any chinese made gun with 400fps! It's just awesome! It can also hold an m120 spring without any other upgrades! It's awesome!
It doesnt. It uses a pneumatic blowback system which doesnt use the air that is compressed to fire the bb. In other words, it doesnt take down the fps
they need to "reinvent the wheel" in airsoft. there's got to be a better way to propel a BB without any electronics while keeping all sources of power confined within the gun. less moving parts the better, no external gas/air or battery supply. like a real gun you can beat it up and run the internals all day long without worrying about buying more bullshit overpriced plastic parts that take 2 hours to replace...
Agreed. Especially with this new "technology". Alot of buyers who get this stuff are going to be disappointed when it doesn't work right or breaks after a few rounds. Airsoft guns that have blowback are not field worthy.
I have heard many great things about these guns.. They are supposed to be just as, if not more reliable than the average AEG because of the reinforced parts. I think airsoft designers need to focus on the blowback itself. All of the electric operated blowbacks are terrible when it comes to recoil. once they master the recoil strength, airsoft will wear a new mask in the face of realism
ive actually though about a design based off a handguns action and uses magnets as the bolt/s pistons driving force, obviously ive never build it lol, but basically it has changing polarity's on two to three magnets to push pull the piston/bolt forwards and back, all this is driven by a timing gear and a 9v battery, on paper it looks good
I don think this is a badass thing. yea for looks but if you really look at this you lose compression cause some of the air in the cylinder goes up and escapes. So you would lose FPS. just my opinion.
i think the point of fps is invalid, yeah some is lost, but alot of it is returned as shown in the video. If you're unhappy with the fps stick a stronger spring in. I personally think its a cool feature and theyre really nicely made, but having seen them first hand the recoil is purely for show.
Yes, that would be logical, therefore they have probebly inserted more powerfull spring, since they are claming the velocity of those guns will be around 300 fps, as old ones.

I don't understand what the upper gas chamber is for. All i see is something that would decrease the fps of the gun the rest is okay.

why not just attach the bolt to the piston
AIRSOFTSOLDIER369 2 years ago
because, when firing in full auto the piston wont always go all the way forward. It can be stuck in the middle
also, this method takes no additional stress on the piston and is very space efficient.

but the action happens so quick, the extra pressure is released just as the BB leaves the barrel, giving it a heavy "kick"

Where can you find it online in the US?

i am wondering when this comes in effect in the US too!!

I would like to know if you lose fps due to the fact it has a piston to drive back the fake bolt?
orkit666 3 years ago
no because the fake bolt also pushes air wen it comes back to the normal position
a1rs0ftpwn3r 3 years ago
So... does this get applied to the G&G rifles and SMG's in the US in May, or is it a later date for us in the US?

ok, wait a minute, if the compression from the spring powers the blowback also, wouldnt that lower the fps of the gun itself?
