@mjsmcd I believe it's a V7 chord in B with the 7th a half step down, Which would be B, D#, F#, and A "natural" instead of sharp which is in the key. Then inverted where you have the 7th on bottom, and 5th just above that.

So you now have; A natural, F#, B, D#.

Though it was just a glimpse but inoticed

that Paolo Jobim is very much like his father ( when young) and my heart missed a beat. I admire A.C, J(Tom)and his beautiful and heartfelt songs, especially in Portuguese (pity I don't know the language).
