Nigeria was better when???? Nigeria made only one shot in goal in ALL the game. Italy made almost seven shots where nigerian goalkeeper saved the result. Italy was denied another penalty. and Zola was wrongly expelled for a foul that he hasn't made!

@tunjosxyz The Italian was definitely fouled because at the '94 WC tackling from behind was out-lawed. If you watch closely the Nigerian made no attempt to play the ball he fell on the Italian player regardless of whether it was intentional or not (I don't think it was though) its still a foul in the penalty area so therefore it is a penalty. And the referee was not biased because Italy were playing with 10 men following Zola's dismissal.

And the nigerian player jumps on the italian player, thats a foul, no matter what the italian does....And italy played better that match and won deservedly, so whats the problem????

there are lots of deserved penalties denied and lots of unfair penalties surrounding other teams as well.

as to u're intelligence - italy vs australia

go check the meaning of penalty. it is a form of punishment to an offender.

check o'niel's movement after he missed his tackle on grosso. 100% penalty deserved on o'niel. whether or not grosso dived is debatable. i'm not a fan of grosso... but o'niel deserved the penalty.
