  • @daleksrule1 good point....

  • Wait, I just thought of something.... In "Smith and Jones", didn't he just direct all the radiation to his shoe? Why couldn't he have done that again?

  • @xana43 thats a very good point actually

  • david tennant is better :( I'll miss him as the Doctor!

  • hopefully he returns cuz theres still half human dr remember but thats a mabe

  • I just wonder, and hope, that when Smith decides to move to move on that they can with half as much strength, dignity, grace, and beauty as this. Very well done.

  • thumbs up if you think that the ood's line was one of the best lines in Doctor Who

  • This is always a painful scene to watch! Greatest Doctor EVER!

  • Did anyone see Matt Smith spit at 4:49?

  • i tured computer up full blast

  • Doctor who having an orgasm 3:46

  • @sameasbebopassword Typical, always somone...

  • If I was there with him I would sing the Neverending Song.

  • i could have cried at this scene. i REALLY didn't want him to go i don't like Matt as much but that could just be because he is after David who is my total favorite

  • can bring david tennant back 4 a special thanks 2 the version of him who is with rose, can tell he was genuin sad to go.bet he regretted leavin.wish he hadnt but i do think Matt Smith is a great doctor.both r brilliant in different ways, think kids will enjoy watching Matt because is pretty childish and very eccentric which is great

think the music is so powerful.fits the ending perfect

hope they bring bck old companions to see new doctor, he as already filmed 2 episodes of sarah jane adventures

  • Ithink the saddest part is when DT looks at the console once last time as if hes saying goodbye to his oldest friend the TARDIS :(

  • As much as I like Matt Smith, David Tennant will be missed forever. Definitely one of the best, if not the best Doctor ever, and this scene is the saddest thing ever.

  • 1 thing i noticed the new console is bigger thean the old 1

  • i loved this one as well,a sad but powerful send off,FANTASTIC!

  • this is the only doctor that has regenerated this violently. he actually damaged the tardis during the regeneration.

  • @HollowxHunter35 To be fair, he absorbed tons of radiation and he was holding off his regeneration while he could.

  • R.I.P tenth doctor the best damn doctor so far.

  • this song is ending, but the story never ends

  • The Doctor: (After regeneration) I think I broke something...

  • @PichuandPikachuINC That would be an AWESOME first line for a Doctor actually... =)

  • I actually cried when he regenerated.

  • I now prefer everything on the new doctor who, except the shade of blue on the outside of the TARDIS and the time rotor. I prefer the old one!

  • I always burst out laughing when he turns around after regenerating and jumps in fright at the mini explosion behind him before proceeding to examine his new legs xD

I don't care what anyone says, Smith is a great Doctor. It might be a good few years before a lot of people start to realise that though, by which time he'll be getting ready to regenerate into someone else!

  • @VictorCreed89 yes matt is a good doctor but he can't beat david thats my way of thinking as i didn't think david was that good in series 2 but from series 3 onwards he started to get really good.

I have started to like matt from series 5 finale onwards.

lets just hope he gets better before those few years pass and he regenerates again

  • wat happens if don't get into the tardis???

  • @MrSilverDany the regeneration happens just in the open

  • @MrSilverDany I think if the Doctor doesn´t get into his Tardis when regenerating there´s a huge chance that the regeneration could go wrong.

Both the 4th and 7th Doctor Regenerated outside of the Tardis and it didn´t go well.

The 5th Doctor was confused and switched between his different incarnations personalities just after his regeneration he got to rest in the Tardis and he cleared up at the end of the episode.

The 8th Doctor spend much of his time with complete amnesia.

  • @Erikjust The second Doctor even hinted that it was part of the Tardis to help with the regeneration.

Some might say i forgot the Third Doctor who also regenerate outside of the Tardis well you could say he got help from another Time lord so that might have made up for the lack of help from the Tardis.

  • I bet if you ask any Who fan what they were doing/thinking at the beginning of that scene, they could tell you. Its a completely gripping 5 minutes. Although you know the 10th Doctor's time is is up, you don't want it to end. Although I looked forward to Matt Smith as the Doctor and think he's absolutely brilliant, there was a part of me that was sad to see the 10th Doctor go.

  • Matt Smith made a great first impression for his opening minute as the new Doctor. He brings what I describe as "kinetic weirdness" to the character. Makes for a very interesting version indeed.

  • @LordZontar "Kinetic weirdness"... that is an excellent way to describe it!

  • did anyone else see him spit at 4:51?

  • @jamesbond0078857 hahhaha

  • That was genuine sadness, "I don't want to go." That was telling two stories. The character, and the man playing him. Those words still haunt me today. Bless you David Tennant, we will remember you, as OUR doctor. Matt Smith for picking up the role, you are a great doctor, and we all love your awkwardness just as much as David's charm.

  • In Absolute tears. :'( R.I.P 10th xx
