If and when he makes the team in 2012, that will be his 3rd Olympics at the age of 25. Hopefully, he'll go pro after that and get a sweet multimillion dollar deal. His style looks like it will suit him well in the pros. He'll just need to be a little more defense-minded against good pro fighters.

@punktheman, I'm an amateur boxer, ages 14 and the reason you have to throw way more combos in amateur is because you only have like 4 and a half minutes altogether in a fight so there's no need to pace youself, and judges sometimes sway toward the more aggressive boxer.

I understand it's relative to how u fight and how much attention u get. Typically anyone going pro will sign up in local gym, the gym will give u an agent/manager, who will likely get you a spot at a local venue when a place opens, then if you keep winning you keep going up,

The main reasons 2 go amateur first are 2 learn without getting hurt much, and 2 avoid early loss in ur pro career. It all depends on how good u are ... if you earn shit all at 25 wins then u aren't fighting right people.
