It is hard to clean. The screen is very delicate indeed. How do you get the wood under the screen clean as well? There is a smell, if you smoke that good green like I do.

@Based4life20 it burns so hot it leave that burnt taste in my mouth. brushing it doesn't do it for me. And you can't clean underneath the screen were the wood gets brown and gross. I like the iolite better because I can clean it and get that good taste of my very expensive herbal relief. I feel like I wasted my money on the magic flight. It was only good for a about 6 uses. There is a smell also...weed is smells like weed.
There is no smell.. you are burning the weed. Use it correctly and its a very good product. Your are the temperature control, you can't hold the thing for too long. If you use it RIGHT from the beginning then there would be no problem.

I use mine for herb, everyone i know has thiers for herb and we all agree there is almost no smell. It is stealthy and discreet if you use the thing right. @Based4life20 you're assuming I don't understand how it works. I'm not going to go into the research I have done on many different vaporizers. This one sucks in my opinion. Anyone with common sense will know if one can't change the screen or clean under it, eventually it will make ones weed taste like shit. But you keep enjoying your dirty vaporizer and I will stick with the iolite because I can clean it with ease. And weed smells like weed no matter what you do to it.
I can see how you think it sucks. But all im trying to say is if you use the thing right and dont let it get too hot, (combustion, i'm sure you know what that is) then a lot of the problems you pointed out would not be problems.

@Based4life20 I bought mine in August of this year. I'm glad your is working out for you, but as you can see, I'm not the only one unsatisfied with this product. Maybe you could post a video or even photos of how you clean yours and how it looks after months of use. I gave this product 90 days of which I used it almost daily, but not heavily. At the end of the 90 days I cannot recommend magic flight to anyone.
@shalomyo the new iolite is the best although it is more expensive. But it doesn't have the ignition problems the old iolite has. Buy it from my iolite dot com for the full two year warranty. There are cheaper prices on ebay, amazon and other vap sites, but people have had issues with the warranty with those purchases. I have had the new iolite for about 5 months and so far so good.
@playingontheweb I love the clean high of the iolite. I can get high before I go into the movies and I am still high when I come out. And I don't come down all hard either, like when I would smoke a pipe or a joint. The iolite is definitely the better product for sure. Totally worth the money.
@playingontheweb I agree with the part that the lack of changing the screen is a problem. But you said you only got 6 uses out of it? You're either severely burning your weed, not shaking the box after each solid hit, or you're exaggerating greatly. If you use the brush they use to clean the screen after you dump each trench out, and NOT burn it. It will stal clean and silvery like new. No need for rubbing alcohol... just clean it properly each time. Thats a problem with stoners

You assume I'm some childish stoner, when in fact I'm quite the opposite. I gave my honest opinion on this product and I'm sticking to it. No one wants to jump through hoops to get high. The iolite is easy to use and easy to clean period.

This vap is pretty cool, all the vaps give someone a job so just help make it legal! I like the vaps cause you don't have to worry about the smell so if you don't like them don't ditch em' cause somebody else everywhere likes it!!
I just got mine in the mail today, can't believe how small it is! I knew it would be small, but it's like a third of the size I was expecting which is really amazing. Already have a vapor genie which I love but from what I've heard these are even better especially for stealthiness.

@severmine its because vaporizers only heat up enough to vaporize the THC. the high you get from smoking is from THC and cannabinoids (other chemicals in weed) so when you hit a vaporizer, youre missing the cannabinoids, but some prefer this as it provides a "clearer" high
The experience is much better than smoking. You must not be using the vape right, make sure there is nothing when u exhale. It is a longer, clearer high when used correctly.
Great product, but it isn't very effective for an everyday pipe/bong smoker, i can barely feel the effects yet when i smoke a bowl im high as fuck..? :(
My best friend has one for his dad who has cancer...they get to bond over using it, and it has helped them talk it out and alleviate his old man's pain. Great little box.
@the3xr Dude vaporizer's get you higher than bongs, bongs are usually the strongest way, other than a vaporizer, but the legit vapes are the volcano with bags. So most likely it will be as strong as a bong or a little less, yes it makes your lungs feel good, fucks your ass up, and saves you weed!
@boxtrap21 Hardly any smell if any, and even if someone smells something they won't be suspicious, it has it's own unique smell. I use it everyday and my medicine lasts about 3 times longer than when i smoke it.
Meh, it's really not that great. My buddy has one and it gets the job done, but it just doesn't hit hard unless you hold the battery thing down to the point of it almost burning the bud... and that defeats the whole purpose of it.

@HungryGreeny That's because you misunderstand how AA batteries work. Electrons flow from the "+" end (or more accurately, terminal), and therefore it is not necessary for the "-" end to be in contact with anything. Simply, + sends, - receives. In a device that requires 4 batteries for example, electrons flow from "+" to "-" from one battery to the next, and then the last battery in the chain will pass along the electrons to the device. So in reality, one "-" end will never have contact.
@iWatchinTubes no, you're wrong. electrons flow from the positive pole to the negative pole, therefore, you must close the circuit and connect the negative pole to it. if you don't connect it, electrons have nowhere to flow, they MUST 'return to the battery'
however, batteries come by default with the negative pole attached to it's body, because it acts as a ground pole. that's a frequent resource used by DC electronics, such as a small motor or a flashlight, but not by AC electronics.

@mclanta ALL vaporizers work best with bone-dry ground herb. I take out buds a few weeks ahead of time so they dry (in a cool, dark place -- paper lunch bag is perfect) then I grind them as I need them. I usually use my Extreme, which is super efficient. I am a once-a-day toker (9pm is my 4:20 -- I like to get things done, and not sloth around on the couch watching TV all day) so an 8th lasts me 6-8 weeks. Seriously! Vapes are super efficient and pay for themselves!
Why does it have the battery sticking out the side at such a weird 90 degree angle? Couldn't they have streamlined it and made it stick out the back end or something.... Kind of awkward and a bitch to have to carry around batteries and shit...
I just want a cheap small vaporizer, preferably GLASS, 'cause I can always taste plastic or metal, or other cheap parts....
I started using BONG stems, and just heating them under a candle with the weed inside. IT works, but it's not very portable.
@staphinfection This vaporizer is really cheap actually compared to desk units, and work just as well. The batteries issue isn't really an issue, I carry about 3 fully charged, plus the unit inside a small crown royal bag. And as for the battery sticking out like that, its essential to have it easy to remove, because if it's left in too long you can destroy your herbs :-O and noone wants that.
@staphinfection Dude, do it Trailer Park Boys style -- hot knives. That's the cheapest vaporizer you can get! Make sure to have several rum n' cokes too... and you always have to have one in hand! But hot knives will only work with hash... Ground herb would fall off the knife. Maybe use a spoon instead? I don't know how they do those hits with the beer bottle. I guess that's a Corey and Trevor thing (fucking retards! I know cats and dogs smarter than Corey and Trevor!)
@SteveAlbinisPussy Ah, OK, I saw the episode where Ricky does the bottle thing. Basically, it's a beer bottle with a hole in the bottom-side broken in (be careful and clean it out well so you don't inhale glass chips). Then he takes a lit cigarette (Trevor, smokes, let's go!) and puts the cherry on a small chunk of hash so it sticks on the hot cigarette. The cigarette is inserted into the hole in the beer bottle's bottom, while the top opening is held closed. Fill with smoke, pull off the top.
@bluekillsall My advice -- get some new batteries. If you look at vaporwiki, it says which kind to use. They're cheap as shit. If you buy MFLB on Amazon, it will recommend some spare batteries and a faster charger. You just peel the label off the battery (remove the extra glue with some wd-40) and you're in business. When I first got my MFLB, I used it everyday for a month. It's good, but not the most efficient vape you can find. Definitely the smallest and most stealth, for sure.

@ButteryAssAbel Not my thing. Green tea is about as wound up as I get. I don't even drink coffee anymore, because of the cortisol. It always made me feel edgy and if I had enough, irritable. And the truth is, I was drinking coffee to overcome the weed burnout. Weed burnout is great when you puffed at 9pm and burn out around midnight. Sleep like a baby. Plus, when I was toking all the time, it felt like I never got high. Now I feel like I am on shrooms. Trippy highs! Less is more... Saves $ too!

When he stood up he suddenly lost it and fell into the three feet deep water and convulsed. I picked him up. Something did happen, could have been the weed, the heat, or standing up fast. Casaloca the smell is minimal in a closed environment even less of a problem outside so no worries. The newer MFLB have a rubber seal for any leakage around the cover but I never lost any vape without the seal so still no worries
After seeing you video I decided to buy one because I think you are a pro and I use medical marijuana because I got hurt in the 82nd Airborne Division a few years ago.
Questions:
If I am taking a walk with my dog and decide to toke will it smell like weed or draw attention assuming I am concealing it properly? Does it need to burn off any packing grease or have a strong plastic or metallic smell? I own DBV and Volcano both adapt well to certain situations and I hope this is great to.
You just aren't either using it right or you're using the wrong vaporizer. I get thick cloudy monster vape hits off my SSV/Roor combo. The only reason one gets light-headed is because you are lightly vaping and trying to fill your lungs as if your smoking. Smoking is just stupid all around.

@Mr420ways yes it can , it almost defiantly wont but in some people if you take a huge hit and cough it out hard it can (probably more to do with lack of oxygen than anything in the weed) . with that said it is still the greatest thing on earth. 4204life.
As for iolite vs magic flight, they are just different. Iolite doesn't rely on chargeable batteries, so you don't need to do energy capacity planning, like with MF. The iolite gets warm. The iolite takes a little bit to warm up, but not too long. The iolite will also vaporize weed much more efficiently and without any risk of blackening the weed. It's easier to preload and no bits of herb can fall out of the chamber if you pocket it. Tough call, but I prefer my iolite to my MFLB.
@SteveAlbinisPussy I also own both and I prefer the MFLB. iOlite takes too long bro. I don't mean just to heat up, but also to use. Even after its heated up you have to spend a good 10+ min on it. With the MFLB I'm done in only 2 minutes. I also find the iolite a bit of a pain to clean. But they are both excellent products and I find myself using the iolite quite a lot when I'm in traffic or somewhere were I can jut chill for some time.
@yiyopr1 so, then, when do you use the mflb? i'm researching right now, and i've been interested in the iolite, but a lot of people say they like the mflb. i like the idea that it's electric, but it looks so rinky-dink, to use a word. thanks for your reply
@yiyopr1 Yes, but the MFLB is not as efficient as the iolite or extreme. OK, the extreme is not portable. It is what it is... The MFLB will get you high and it's stealth... You should save your duff and then put it back in a more efficient vaporizer when you're done, and you'll see what I mean -- you'll get another 1-2 puffs off the duff. Good puffs that are potent. I still use my MFLB, as the iolite's larger size, warmup time, etc make it a bit less useful when you need to be stealthy.
If you can only pick one, I would recommend the iolite, because it is more efficient. That you could use as your every day vape, and it's quite portable too. The downside is that, yes, it does take a bit to warm up... You get the best puffs after 10 minutes. If you already have a home based unit or an iolite, the MFLB is a great super-stealth vape. I have used it at concerts where the artist (John Wetton) has yelled at people for smoking, while I was just vaping away without a smell.

@andrespereyda One tip with the MFLB -- make a cylinder out of tin foil and put your herb in it, then close up the cylinder and put it inside the MFLB, and then close it up with the rubber band. When you get to your destination, you can open the foil cylinder and carefully pour the ground herb into the trench. This will prevent any of the herb from falling out of the air-slot. Not a lot of herb will fall through there, but this seems to be a good way to go. One trench will do me -- low tolerance
@SteveAlbinisPussy I must say, the MFLB has really been handy these days, especially at concerts. It's so compact, it's easy to bring into the venue (I almost lost my iolite at a concert, during the pat-down). If the herb has been ground and dried a few days prior, it will work well. But it's very hard to really get the most out of the herb. Whenever I get home, I put the "spent" duff in my Extreme, and I get 1-2 solid hits off it. So it is what it is -- amazing stealth vape, but not efficient.
The Magic Flight is good and worth buying, but a couple of comments: It will give you some really good vapes for the first few hits, but since it has a one sided heat source vs. forced air, after those first few hits, it's shakin' and slim pickens. Kind of a feast or famine thing. Also I find it harsh -- probably want to use a whip with the mouth piece. It's great in that you get vapors fast, but after those first few hits, the vapors are weak. I use it when my extreme parts are in dishwasher
i owned an iolite for about a year as my on the go vaporizer. it was a good vape but at a $200+ price tag and less then desirable hits made me sell it. this MFLB is the best portable out there hands down. not to mention most places on the net sell them for like $55. if my iolite would have had a better hit to it i would still have it but this launch box really gives me big hits in a small package. still cant top my SSV though, but thats to be expected because it is afterall an ssv.
i CAN'T wait! i'm ordering tomorrow... i'm a fighter and this combustion thing was fucking with my health... i can't wait to be a non-smoker... and still getting fucked up.

@playingontheweb I love the clean high of the iolite. I can get high before I go into the movies and I am still high when I come out. And I don't come down all hard either, like when I would smoke a pipe or a joint. The iolite is definitely the better product for sure. Totally worth the money.

You're either severely burning your weed, not shaking the box after each solid hit, or you're exaggerating greatly. If you use the brush they use to clean the screen after you dump each trench out, and NOT burn it. It will stal clean and silvery like new. No need for rubbing alcohol... just clean it properly each time. Thats a problem with stoners

@severmine its because vaporizers only heat up enough to vaporize the THC. the high you get from smoking is from THC and cannabinoids (other chemicals in weed) so when you hit a vaporizer, youre missing the cannabinoids, but some prefer this as it provides a "clearer" high

@HungryGreeny That's because you misunderstand how AA batteries work. Electrons flow from the "+" end (or more accurately, terminal), and therefore it is not necessary for the "-" end to be in contact with anything. Simply, + sends, - receives. In a device that requires 4 batteries for example, electrons flow from "+" to "-" from one battery to the next, and then the last battery in the chain will pass along the electrons to the device. So in reality, one "-" end will never have contact.

@iWatchinTubes no, you're wrong. electrons flow from the positive pole to the negative pole, therefore, you must close the circuit and connect the negative pole to it. if you don't connect it, electrons have nowhere to flow, they MUST 'return to the battery'
however, batteries come by default with the negative pole attached to it's body, because it acts as a ground pole. that's a frequent resource used by DC electronics, such as a small motor or a flashlight, but not by AC electronics.

@mclanta ALL vaporizers work best with bone-dry ground herb. I take out buds a few weeks ahead of time so they dry (in a cool, dark place -- paper lunch bag is perfect) then I grind them as I need them. I usually use my Extreme, which is super efficient. I am a once-a-day toker (9pm is my 4:20 -- I like to get things done, and not sloth around on the couch watching TV all day) so an 8th lasts me 6-8 weeks. Seriously! Vapes are super efficient and pay for themselves!

@staphinfection This vaporizer is really cheap actually compared to desk units, and work just as well. The batteries issue isn't really an issue, I carry about 3 fully charged, plus the unit inside a small crown royal bag. And as for the battery sticking out like that, its essential to have it easy to remove, because if it's left in too long you can destroy your herbs :-O and noone wants that.

But hot knives will only work with hash... Ground herb would fall off the knife. Maybe use a spoon instead? I don't know how they do those hits with the beer bottle. I guess that's a Corey and Trevor thing (fucking retards! I know cats and dogs smarter than Corey and Trevor!)

Basically, it's a beer bottle with a hole in the bottom-side broken in (be careful and clean it out well so you don't inhale glass chips). Then he takes a lit cigarette (Trevor, smokes, let's go!) and puts the cherry on a small chunk of hash so it sticks on the hot cigarette. The cigarette is inserted into the hole in the beer bottle's bottom, while the top opening is held closed. Fill with smoke, pull off the top.

One battery lasts one load. One load is around 10 hits, but the battery is rechargeable as shown.
I'd guess it take just as long as a bowl for it to be done. Longer, maybe.
You have to push in the battery for it to start vaporizing, which takes about 3 seconds to start.

@bluekillsall My advice -- get some new batteries. If you look at vaporwiki, it says which kind to use. They're cheap as shit. If you buy MFLB on Amazon, it will recommend some spare batteries and a faster charger. You just peel the label off the battery (remove the extra glue with some wd-40) and you're in business. When I first got my MFLB, I used it everyday for a month. It's good, but not the most efficient vape you can find. Definitely the smallest and most stealth, for sure.

Casaloca the smell is minimal in a closed environment even less of a problem outside so no worries. The newer MFLB have a rubber seal for any leakage around the cover but I never lost any vape without the seal so still no worries

After seeing you video I decided to buy one because I think you are a pro and I use medical marijuana because I got hurt in the 82nd Airborne Division a few years ago.

If I am taking a walk with my dog and decide to toke will it smell like weed or draw attention assuming I am concealing it properly? As for iolite vs magic flight, they are just different. Iolite doesn't rely on chargeable batteries, so you don't need to do energy capacity planning, like with MF. The iolite gets warm. The iolite takes a little bit to warm up, but not too long. The iolite will also vaporize weed much more efficiently and without any risk of blackening the weed. It's easier to preload and no bits of herb can fall out of the chamber if you pocket it. Tough call, but I prefer my iolite to my MFLB.

With the MFLB I'm done in only 2 minutes. I also find the iolite a bit of a pain to clean. But they are both excellent products and I find myself using the iolite quite a lot when I'm in traffic or somewhere were I can jut chill for some time.

@yiyopr1 Yes, but the MFLB is not as efficient as the iolite or extreme. OK, the extreme is not portable. It is what it is... The MFLB will get you high and it's stealth... You should save your duff and then put it back in a more efficient vaporizer when you're done, and you'll see what I mean -- you'll get another 1-2 puffs off the duff. Good puffs that are potent. I still use my MFLB, as the iolite's larger size, warmup time, etc make it a bit less useful when you need to be stealthy.

If you can only pick one, I would recommend the iolite, because it is more efficient. That you could use as your every day vape, and it's quite portable too. The downside is that, yes, it does take a bit to warm up... You get the best puffs after 10 minutes. If you already have a home based unit or an iolite, the MFLB is a great super-stealth vape. I have used it at concerts where the artist (John Wetton) has yelled at people for smoking, while I was just vaping away without a smell.

@andrespereyda One tip with the MFLB -- make a cylinder out of tin foil and put your herb in it, then close up the cylinder and put it inside the MFLB, and then close it up with the rubber band. When you get to your destination, you can open the foil cylinder and carefully pour the ground herb into the trench. This will prevent any of the herb from falling out of the air-slot. Not a lot of herb will fall through there, but this seems to be a good way to go. One trench will do me -- low tolerance

@SteveAlbinisPussy I must say, the MFLB has really been handy these days, especially at concerts. It's so compact, it's easy to bring into the venue (I almost lost my iolite at a concert, during the pat-down). If the herb has been ground and dried a few days prior, it will work well. But it's very hard to really get the most out of the herb. Whenever I get home, I put the "spent" duff in my Extreme, and I get 1-2 solid hits off it. So it is what it is -- amazing stealth vape, but not efficient.

The Magic Flight is good and worth buying, but a couple of comments: It will give you some really good vapes for the first few hits, but since it has a one sided heat source vs. forced air, after those first few hits, it's shakin' and slim pickens. Kind of a feast or famine thing. Also I find it harsh -- probably want to use a whip with the mouth piece. It's great in that you get vapors fast, but after those first few hits, the vapors are weak. I use it when my extreme parts are in dishwasher

i owned an iolite for about a year as my on the go vaporizer. it was a good vape but at a $200+ price tag and less then desirable hits made me sell it. this MFLB is the best portable out there hands down. not to mention most places on the net sell them for like $55. if my iolite would have had a better hit to it i would still have it but this launch box really gives me big hits in a small package. still cant top my SSV though, but thats to be expected because it is afterall an ssv.
