I really like A Chip in the Sugar. "I love you, give us your teeth I'll swill them". This is beautifully read but as the others said it's a bit fast.

wonderful ..one of the finest pieces of writing by Alan Bennett, you do this well... sometimes i find it haunting,whenever ive spent too long with mother, i find myself thinking about this.. can i just say, it is a tad too fast.. but you capture it well.

What I like about this is is it catches every aspect of the repression and misery inherent in all Bennett works (and, by implication, in the UK as a whole)
