@HitandRyan Well, Jack's good against Husks since they're pretty much the only enemy in the game that has to attack you in large numbers in the game to be effective and shockwave can be pretty useful when plowing through several of them at once. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed that she has to use guns at all. If her biotic powers are as good as the cutscenes made them out to be, she should be able to just hurl biotic energy spheres or whatever they're called instead of using guns. :/

Any bonus ability is better in Shep's hands. With Jack, I don't need to waste my points on an ammo bonus (a waste compared to other abilities).

Shockwave ignores cover but is imprecise and relies on enemies bunching up, where you can direct Throw with way more precision and get more of them off quicker, especially with biotic cooldowns upgraded.

Infiltrator you can cloak and avoid enemy fire entirely, then get the enemy to move around and set up those biotics. Soldiers just shoot everything.

How is trapping an enemy in a singularity and then warping them to make the explode and damage all other enemies around it, throwing people off cliffs and tossing enemies into the sky not fun?

@awesomeness4441 sadly no, around half the game u reach a place in where u can choose one of the three, im playing the infiltrator right now, and afterwards i plan on playing the adept, once i reach that part im gonna take the assault rifle.
Before playing the infitrator i played the sentinel and the battle rifle (which u get in archangel's mission) really helped me out

Lol it's funny how they show all these classes completely leveled up,so when people have to pick a class they take,lets say,Adept and think they're gonna trash enemies like that.However it's different when you are a rookie adept.You have less powers at the beggining and after you use one you have to wait for it to recharge quite a while.Also if your squad members die,you will have a hard time defeating all those enemies without bullets.The Sentinel is the best class IMO.

What would be sweet is a game that you could live a life of a normal stormtrooper etc. going into the huge battles, maybe even prestige ex. Sniper = Tactician, etc. you level up and you have a squad of stormtroopers or you could be a CIS droid, and you can also free roam, that would be my favorite game of all time (oh yeah, convo's like on Me2 would be sweet too!)

Adept is the best class in the game. I breezed through insane with it because warp absolutely owns everything. If you use Thane and Miranda and you all have heavy warp, you can destroy absolutely everything. Using warp on enemies that are in the air annihilates them.
Charge is not unhelpful on harder difficulties for the simple fact that charge gives you back some of your shield. Charging saved me many times when my health was low and my shields were down.
@Kyre0 Yeah my main ME character is an infiltrator. Badass in ME2 but we were sooooooo gimped in the first game. In ME1 if you weren't a soldier you sucked ass.
adepts are a horrible choice for insanity difficulty. i tried and it was just like hard to the point that it wasnt fun anymore. word to the wise if your gonna play on the harder difficulties the best classes are vanguard, sentiniel, and soldier
it's too bad that you cant cast biotic powers on targets with protection, that is the draw back for this class, so if you were to play on let say hardcore or insanity in which most enimies have protection on them biotic powers are useless most of the time, i hopethey fix that i like the adept class.

Same thing I've always thought of since I got ME2. I'd like a class like Thank Krios weapon training w/ a pistol,submachine gun and sniper rifle and all biotic powers and incideary ammo and cryo ammo power would be good too.
i just finished the game as sentinel, he has an extra armor thing, and has alot of an adept's abilities, and also has the ability to freeze targets and overload shields, gonna start an adept now, those 2 are the best imo.
personally i think u get the most satisfaction of the game when playing as an adept because of the curving attacks u finally feel like the blue glowing badass of the battlefield
@apeeas its just single player. but in example mass effect one has one of the most breathtaking storylines....if you are more the MP guy it wont be anything for you
Charge isn't that useful... you can't use it as liberally as I hoped. You can only charge when the enemy is in the open. Right after you use charge you are vulnerable and there are lots of enemies surrounding you. You are forced to run back and get cover.
You can pull enemies out of cover with any class that can use pull, all you have to do is learn how to curve your biotics around cover (which is very easy to learn btw.)
The powers curve themselves. The curve increases as you level up your abilities so you will be more likely to hit an enemy behind cover with higher level abilities. Just make sure your targeting the enemy before you launch the ability.
You have to aim next to your target so that you're not aiming directly at him, but he is still targeted on your HUD, then you hit your power button and it'll curve toward your target.
i wish that liara was squad playable because of her biotics

Adept is the best class in the game. I breezed through insane with it because warp absolutely owns everything. If you use Thane and Miranda and you all have heavy warp, you can destroy absolutely everything. Using warp on enemies that are in the air annihilates them.

mostly i only use singuarity and warp :(
pull + throw looks very nice, but hard to use it well and way use too much time to kill an enemy
and never considered to use shockwave.. the delay is way too long
by the way, infiltrator is damn good

Vanguards are fun to play but on harder difficulties where every enemy has armor, it's powers just don't really cut it.

tbh the charge is really unhelpful. You dont want to charge in the middle of enemies, its just suicide...i'd rather play the adept for more biotics.

Charge is not unhelpful on harder difficulties for the simple fact that charge gives you back some of your shield. Charging saved me many times when my health was low and my shields were down.

@Kyre0 Yeah my main ME character is an infiltrator. Badass in ME2 but we were sooooooo gimped in the first game. In ME1 if you weren't a soldier you sucked ass.

adepts are a horrible choice for insanity difficulty. i tried and it was just like hard to the point that it wasnt fun anymore. word to the wise if your gonna play on the harder difficulties the best classes are vanguard, sentiniel, and soldier

it's too bad that you cant cast biotic powers on targets with protection, that is the draw back for this class, so if you were to play on let say hardcore or insanity in which most enimies have protection on them biotic powers are useless most of the time, i hopethey fix that i like the adept class.

lol that is suposed to be like that... and u can use warp to take out the protections, it is mostely used for that... u can also use your pistol for that... learn to use all u have m8 ;)

@vastus3 That would be kinda boring. Biotic and tech powers are what make ME2's combat segments interesting. Without them, we're just looking at Gears of War all over again.

Same thing I've always thought of since I got ME2. I'd like a class like Thank Krios weapon training w/ a pistol,submachine gun and sniper rifle and all biotic powers and incideary ammo and cryo ammo power would be good too.

i just finished the game as sentinel, he has an extra armor thing, and has alot of an adept's abilities, and also has the ability to freeze targets and overload shields, gonna start an adept now, those 2 are the best imo.

personally i think u get the most satisfaction of the game when playing as an adept because of the curving attacks u finally feel like the blue glowing badass of the battlefield

@apeeas its just single player. but in example mass effect one has one of the most breathtaking storylines....if you are more the MP guy it wont be anything for you

Charge isn't that useful... you can't use it as liberally as I hoped. You can only charge when the enemy is in the open. Right after you use charge you are vulnerable and there are lots of enemies surrounding you. You are forced to run back and get cover.

You can pull enemies out of cover with any class that can use pull, all you have to do is learn how to curve your biotics around cover (which is very easy to learn btw.)

The powers curve themselves. The curve increases as you level up your abilities so you will be more likely to hit an enemy behind cover with higher level abilities. Just make sure your targeting the enemy before you launch the ability.

You have to aim next to your target so that you're not aiming directly at him, but he is still targeted on your HUD, then you hit your power button and it'll curve toward your target.
