im playing this game for the first time and i dont know how i did it. all i did was stand in a corner and blast at him, his ice spikes couldn't reach to where i was, the only damage caused was when he started rolling around and only hit me once every time he did it.

For a rock Thardus is pretty bad ass! I always love that lightning storm part. The fact that you can barely see makes the fight that much funner.

I'm supposed to have the Varia Suit, and this is the Fusion Suit, which is an unlockable.

Once you beat Metroid Prime once, go to the "Metroid Fusion Connection Bonuses", go to "Metroid Fusion Suit", and link Metroid Fusion to Metroid Prime through the GBA/GCN Link Cable.

Yeah, you can use the Bombs to expose the weak point in the Trilogy version.

didnt know that thing of morph ball, i barely used the morph ball escape there, because i use the super missiles before he turns to a ball so i dont stop attacking him but u need to be fast and lucky to get a clear shot

The different suit is due to me using the Fusion Suit, which does nothing but changing your appearance.

As for the extra Energy Tanks, if you look through my walkthrough, you'll see how I got all of them.
