@Guichotpresident actually they do...the King's Singers are excellent, but let's face it, their vocal production is as SQUARE as music gets, even when doing pop arrangements. The Real Group just vibrates with swing and jazz vibe. It's an odd comparison, really. The Real Group compares to Manhattan Transfer or New York Voices, but not the King's Singers. The King's Singers compares to Chanticleer or Anonymous 4.

It's just that most Asians (Don't know about most, but Singaporeans like me do that) hold back their laughter until the end so as not to disrupt other people. These are cultural differences, hope you understand.

Reason: Each singer sings single notes with a long interval in between. Theres nothing like a melodie for the singers (in the main parts).

So if any singer is uncertain with the pitch _OR_ the time, the sound becomes bad instantly.

Resynchronization is a challenge compared to "normal" songs.

The sound results from the addition of all mistakes of all singers - somehow

I have to agree with you on this. You just have to be able to subdivide and count. Baritone part is easily the hardest part to do this on.

The _really_ hard part in this song is not to sing the right notes at the right times. The hard part is to make nice long phrases so it doesn't sound static and boring.
