Although being a Muslim I suffered Muslim intolerance as well, because those Islamist groups are kind of a cult rather than being a religious spiritual movement. This is attributed to many factors. First and foremost is the Saudi political influence and their money pumping to spread their Wahabi sect of Islam which wasn't popular 20-30 years ago. The Wahabi sect is intolerant and rigid creating problems even inside Muslim countries.
